Look at these awesome Sale-a-Bration Team Swaps

This weekend we held our Team meeting & swap and I can't wait to share them all with you!

First up is Mary's card featuring the Rings of Love designer series paper. She created a double Z fun fold card!

Her colors include Night of Navy & Mint Macaron. She used the Charming Sentiments bundle for her greeting and popped it up onto a Mint Oval punched piece.

Measurements:

Night of Navy 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2"
Mint Macaron 9 3/4" X 3 1/4" scored at 4 1/4" & 7 1/4"
DSP is 4" X 3"
White is 2 1/4" X 3"

Next is a sweet card made by Karen; it's a perfect layout for quick cards that highlight your designer paper! She also used the Rings of Love designer paper; it's free in August with a $50 order. See it here.

Her colors are also Night of Navy with Mint Macaron. She colored her White seam binding ribbon Navy with a Blends marker.

White card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored in half at 4 1/4"
Night of Navy 3 1/4" X 4 1/4"
Designer paper 3" X 4"
Mint greeting strip 3 1/4" X 3/4"

Next is a pretty card made by Laura. She featured the Wonderful You Designer Paper which is part of the Wonderful You stamp set & designer paper bundle seen here. They're both free with a $100 Stampin' Up! order in August.

She used the Stylish Shapes stitched square dies to cut the flowers out of the designer paper. No stamping needed!

The Fern 3D embossing folder is so pretty with these delicate flowers.

2 cute cards with the Pampered Pets bundle

I featured the Playful Pets bundle when I made these two cards at Tuesday's Facebook Live this week. This suite is absolutely adorable!

Here's a close up of the first card. The texture of the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder is so neat. It's subtle but still quite noticeable with a unique texture.

This card shows just a peak of the cute Playful Pets designer series paper between the textured layers.

See the paw prints on the bottom right? That is a die in the Pets dies. I placed a scrap of Black CS behind it to show it off. You can see the entire Playful Pets suite here.

The dog is cut from the Playful Pets DSP; the Pet dies match some of the images in the paper! I added a bit of the Playful Pets trim for a collar and a bone from the Pet Trinkets. Below are the measurements for this card:
- Real Red 5 ½” X 8 ½”, 1” X 5 ½”, 2 ¼” X 5 ½” textured pieces
- 1 ¼” X 5 ½” Designer Series Paper
Other products used: Tasteful Textile folder, Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles dies

The second card is a unique fold where the Black piece is the full back of the card and the Real Red is scored for the card opening. It's a fun and unique card that works well with our Designer paper. Whether you use 6 X 6" or 12 X 12" paper it all works without much waste when cutting.

Celebrate Sunflowers Triple Panel Card with video!

I made this card on Facebook Live last night on my weekly Monday night 'Stamp with Me'. It's such a fun technique!

I love blues and browns together and chose to use Just Jade, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Pool Party with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (seen here). What do you think of this color combination? One of my favorite things about creating is coming up with unique color combos.

I have some great tips on doing this technique.
- Start out with three colors of card stock measuring 3 1/2" X 4 1/2".
- Cut these into three strips 1 1/2" wide.
- Lay them together and adhere a piece of copy paper to the back side to keep them held together while stamping.
- Stamp large and small images all over the three colors of card stock with Soft Suede ink. *Always stamp the largest image first!
- Or use Designer Series Paper instead of stamps!
- Adhere to the Early Espresso layer (4 3/4" X 5"). Then to the full 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base.
The pool party greeting strips are either 3/4" or 1" wide by about 4" long. I used the new Pick a Punch (seen here) on the ends and added a thin strip (about 1/4") of Early Espresso card stock under it as an accent. I finished it with a double bow made with our Linen Thread.
