Shabby Chic Lovely & Sweet card with video tutorial & free project sheet!

Here's the last card made in last week's video featuring the Nature's Sweetness suite. I absolutely love this color palette!

It's Pecan Pie with Pebbled Path & Gold accents with a rich monotone look. Look closely at the layout. It's basically a few random layers with only one that's layered. Adding a few smaller elements creates the balance here.

Details & tips:

Note the distressed edges on a few of the layers. That is done by rubbing your open scissor blade over the edge of the paper. Fast and fabulous results! *watch how I do it in the video below.
The large stamped Pecan Pie layer and the DSP square are both sponged with Pecan Pie ink to age them a bit.
That butterfly is one of our Paper Butterfly Accents colored with a Light Natural Tones blends marker. I added some Gold Enamel Effects in streaks all over it. *see how in the video
I added Gold Enamel Effects as berries on the tall leaf die-cut on the left.

Here's how I stamped the inside. The greeting is from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set from Sale-a-Bration.

A SMART way to use your 6 X 6″ paper with this neat fun fold card; video too!

On yesterday's FB Live I shared three unique fun fold cards. See that video here on my YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe too!

This card is probably my favorite fold. It makes the BEST use of your 6 X 6" designer paper!

I chose to feature the Butterfly Kisses 6" DSP in the 2022 Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up! It's filled with bright colors & fun prints with printed butterflies you can cut out!

It coordinates with the Build a Butterfly dies and the Best Butterfly Bundle seen here.

I chose to use Starry Sky with White & Parakeet Party for my main colors. The 'pull out' tag for the front is from the Tailor Made Tags dies seen here.

Blessings of Home & Flowers of Home dies projects

Look at this pretty card I made on last week's Facebook Live.

Lots of pretty details on this card:
- Blessings of Home stamp set & Flowers of Home dies for the leaves
- I used watercolor pencils & blender pen to color the floral image
- the gold honeycomb sheet is from the Sweet Sunflower Paper Pumpkin kit; it was a free gift add on
- I used the gold honeycomb sheet to add a pretty, blended background using Balmy Blue ink & a Blending Brush

I made a second card using mostly the Flowers of Home dies.

I cased the card from Sue Mohr; I thought it was simply elegant way to create a 'wreath' around the oval sentiment.

The oval dies are from the Fabulous Frames dies seen here. When you cut out the oval it creates both the frame and the inside; two pieces with one die!

I textured the White layer with the Quatrefoil embossing folder seen here. It's so pretty and works perfectly with these flower & leaves die-cuts.

The colors I used are Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia.

Tip; when adding these delicate die-cuts use just a tiny but of Multipurpose Liquid glue.
