See both sides of your designer paper with this cool fun fold card; video tutorial too!

I shared these neat cards on last week's Live video. I love it when you can show off both sides of our pretty designer papers! 

Pretty Prints dsp gatefold Save

This card uses almost half of a 12 X 12" piece of designer paper; but it truly makes the most of your printed paper. 

I chose the Pretty Prints DSP from the Annual catalog.  It includes 4 colors; Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, Evening Evergreen and Blackberry Bliss. It's on the retiring list now and discounted to $8.40 instead of $12.  See it here. 

PRETTY PRINTS 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

It's quite an easy fold to make.  You make a few score lines and then trim off the top at an angle; then add that trimmed piece to the bottom edge.  Watch the video to see how it's done.  

Measurements: 

  • Card base 4 ¼” X 5 ½”
  • DSP 5 ¼” X 12” score at 2”, 4”, 8” & 10”. Mark at 2 3/8” and cut off to 4” mark
  • White front square 2 1/4", inside 3 3/4" X 5" 
  • Front square layer 2 1/2"

I chose the Kind & Sincere stamp set for my greetings.  I think the mixed font and wide range of phrases is fabulous.  Unfortunately it is on the retiring list. It's now $15.60 instead of  $26.

  • Easy 8 Card Wonder template with Forever Fern in a kit to go!

    I'm super excited about my newest One Sheet Wonder; I'm calling it the Easy 8 Card Wonder.  I've been doing a bunch of quick card layouts on my Monday night FB live's and have loved the comments on how simple and easy the cards have been.  People are actually making cards and building their stash AND sending them out too!  I LOVE hearing this!  

    So I wanted to create a simple card plan using our beautiful stamped images as the main focus of the cards.  

    Forever Fern cards Save

    The 8 Card Wonder features a template you print on neutral card stock and stamp on the other side.  Then just cut on the printed lines and assemble your cards like shown.  Here's the stamped 8 1/2" X 11" White card stock before I turned it over and cut on the printed lines. 

    The Forever Fern distinktive images in this stamp set are absolutely stunning!

    For these cards I used Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive and Pretty Peacock ink and card stock.

  • Forever Fern card with video; quick & gorgeous!

    Forever Fern is my absolute favorite stamp set in the new annual catalog so far.  The images are beautifully detailed and Distinktive!  That means that with one inking you get multiple hues of color on your stamped image.  Look at the detail and natural shading! See it here.

  • The new catalog is here! We can order after Noon MT today!!!

    Crafters are always ready for new products, right?  Even if you think you there will always be more that you 'need'!  It's not hoarding or collecting if you actually use it, right?

    The card base is Misty Moonlight and the three 1 1/4" strips are Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Cinnamon Cider.  I added the greeting die-cuts in White and Bumble Bee. These pretty die-cuts are from the Tasteful Labels dies on page 179; they're awesome and one of my favorites I've used a ton.
