I shared these neat cards on last week's Live video. I love it when you can show off both sides of our pretty designer papers!

This card uses almost half of a 12 X 12" piece of designer paper; but it truly makes the most of your printed paper.

I chose the Pretty Prints DSP from the Annual catalog. It includes 4 colors; Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, Evening Evergreen and Blackberry Bliss. It's on the retiring list now and discounted to $8.40 instead of $12. See it here.

It's quite an easy fold to make. You make a few score lines and then trim off the top at an angle; then add that trimmed piece to the bottom edge. Watch the video to see how it's done.

Measurements:

Card base 4 ¼” X 5 ½”
DSP 5 ¼” X 12” score at 2”, 4”, 8” & 10”. Mark at 2 3/8” and cut off to 4” mark
White front square 2 1/4", inside 3 3/4" X 5"
Front square layer 2 1/2"

I chose the Kind & Sincere stamp set for my greetings. I think the mixed font and wide range of phrases is fabulous. Unfortunately it is on the retiring list. It's now $15.60 instead of $26.

Gorgeous Flowering Foils projects video

Here are three of the cards I shared in the FB video. These photos do not do them justice! The colors are Silver, White, Petal Pink and Rose Gold. The greetings are all from the Rare Blessings stamp set seen here.

I made a pretty stitched frame with the Stitched Rectangles dies and Silver Foil paper. Added a greeting and a fussy cut flower from the Flowering Foils paper. I sponged it with Petal Pink ink for a bit of soft color.

Check out this 'One Sheet Box' made from one 12 X 12" sheet of Designer paper! It's a really nice size; big enough to hold quite a few cookies inside it.
- Score the 12 x 12 paper at 3″ and 9 inches
- Rotate paper and score at 1″, 3 1/2″, 6 1/2″ and 9 inches. You can watch the video below to see it made.

Mountain Air; a gorgeous scene

You might know that I love creating scenic cards. Even though my nickname is 'Flowerbug' that's because I am a gardener; not because I love flowers. I do! But when making cards I actually lean towards botanicals or scenes with trees and water. This card is a perfect example of my 'style' using the Mountain Air bundle seen here.

I created it on my Facebook Live two weeks ago. It's super easy to make! Here's a link to it on FB.

The colors here are Seaside Spray, Night of Navy and Whisper White. I did use one of the dies from the Mountain Air bundle; that pretty detailed tree. I also sponged the mountains and trees a bit then stamped the trees again upside down in White Craft ink for 'water'. The greeting is from the Well Said stamp set.

I love this set so much I am featuring it in March. Anyone who purchases the Mountain Air stamp set or bundle from me (past or in March) qualifies to receive the 10 cards project tutorial. And all online orders (of any amount) will also receive it!
