Right Behind You; so cute!

I chose the Right Behind You stamp set for my Flowerbug's Team swap this month.  Here's my card:

Right Behind You Save

This set is adorable!  And it has such fun greetings to go with the tandem bicycle as well. Click here to see it. 

RIGHT BEHIND YOU CLING STAMP SET Save

Details:

  • I used the 'ground' image to create grass by stamping it numerous times.
  • I used the Basic Border dies seen here to sponge the clouds.  Get my tips on this in the video below or click here. 
  • I used a mask to add the puppy in the basket. 
  • The greeting die-cut is from the Messages die. 
  • I used Stampin' Blends to color in the images.
  • I added a Metallic pearl to the spokes in the bicycle. 
  • The sun is simply sponged in the corner with Daffodil Delight ink. 

Right Behind You Save

As you can see it's an easy fun fold card.  Simply add one extra score line to your normal A2 card.  Score the 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" Crushed Curry card at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".  The Basic Gray is 3 7/8" X 5 1/8" and the White is 3 3/4" X 5".

I added grass and flowers to the inside to pull it all together.

  • New: Vine Design Dutch Door fold card

    I made several cards for online swaps featuring products in the upcoming 2021 Spring & Sale-a-Bration catalog.  This pretty fun fold card was one of them.  I gravitate towards anything with leaves or vines so I knew I'd like this set called Vine Design.  

    Vine Design Olive Save

    The colors here are Night of Navy, Seaside Spray & Old Olive with White. I used my Stamparatus for the vine image; it's so perfect for multiple cards!  Perfect inking and placement each time. 

    See that greeting & layered ovals?  We have a new   DOUBLE OVAL PUNCH!!!  I'm so excited about this one.  I've missed out oval punches so much and now both are in one!

    Supplies:

    • Stamps – Vine  Design (2021 Spring Catalog)
    • Ink – Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray
    • CS -  Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray, Whisper White
    • Other – Double Oval Punch, Detailed Trio Punch, Well Suited Twine combo pack, Rhinestones, dimensionals, Mini glue dots

    • Old Olive 5 1/2" X 4 1/4"
    • Night of Navy 2 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
    • Whisper White 3 7/8" X 2 3/4", inside is 2" X 3 3/4"
    • Seaside Spray 4 1/8" X 3"

  • Retro Circles layout with a quick video. So unique & versatile!

    I hope you had a nice Christmas weekend!  We sure did.  It's one of my favorite times of the year; one time where all of my kids are home and we're all together. 

    Here's another card we made at my December card clubs.  It was such a hit on Facebook Live Stamp with Me that I had to do it at Club too.  It's a great way to show off your designer paper with this retro style.  Scroll down to see the video. 

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    You just need three circles of different sizes.  I used the Stitched Shapes dies so they have the extra detail of stitches on the edges.  I use these dies so much!  If you don't have them I highly recommend them. See them here. 

    I used the Brightly Gleaming specialty DSP here and instead of the copper foiled side I used the other side which has Navy, Mossy Meadow & Island Indigo.

    The stamped images are from the Itty Bitty Birthday & Lots to Celebrate stamp sets.  Just one ink color; Night of Navy.

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    The above cards were made with various designer papers & stamp sets.  The top is Classic Christmas, left is Heartwarming Hugs and right is Snowflake Splendor. 

    Measurements:

    • Main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Neutral (White or Vanilla) is 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
    • Greeting strip is 1/2" X 5" 
    • Circles are the largest three stitched circle dies 1 3/4", 2 3/8" & 2 7/8"

  • Let it Snow?! Are you having a White Christmas?

    Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your Holiday today and that you are able to spend time with some of your favorite people. This year is so unusual and difficult for many who are isolated.  I wish you the best and thank you for your support this past year.  

    We did just get snow this week; very unusual for us in North Dakota!  So it's a white Christmas after all.  

    Here are two of my favorite wintery cards featuring my Life is Beautiful stamp set.

    Snowman Save

    The card above is Seaside Spray with Black & White.  The stamp set is Snowman Season in the Annual Catalog. 

    Snowflake Splendor card Save

    This card is made with the Snowflake Splendor designer paper.  Ink colors are black, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather. The DSP is retiring in a week or so and it's on sale here. 

    Snowman Save

    This card is very similar to the one above only made with Early Espresso & Balmy Blue.
