Reflection Technique with Mountain Air

I honestly didn't know I'd enjoy creating with the Mountain Air bundle as much as I do. I didn't think it would be so easy to work with!

Even this reflection technique is simple to create. Do you know why? Because of the reversible nature of these stamps. The mountain image is textured on one side, creating the pretty mountain peaks on this card. The mountain shadow/reflection on the water is made with the same stamp but using the solid side.

Details for the card above:

I stamped the mountains first, then the trees underneath.
I turned the trees stamp upside down and without reinking, stamped them again for a reflection.
Next the mountain reflection.
Lastly I sponged a bit of light blue on the sky and darker blue for water.
The greetings are from the Well Written dies and Well Said stamp set.
Colors are Mossy Meadow, Pacific Point and Smoky Slate

CUTE Halloween cards

Our monthly Team swap was last Saturday and our theme was Halloween or Fall cards. Here are two of them I'm happy to share with you.

This first card was made by Lori. She is featuring the Cute Halloween designer paper and the Picture This dies.

The pumpkin, ghost & cat are punched with the Halloween punch directly from the Cute Halloween designer paper seen here. This punch is on back order until October 11th. But you CAN still order it.

I really like how she added different patterns & textures behind each window from the Picture This die cut seen here. And that peak of the black & white dsp behind it all really sets off the fun colors.

That cat peeking from behind the pumpkin is adorable. Her colors are Rich Razzleberry, Black, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie & White. Other products she used here are:

I can see this stamp set be used all year. These cats are hilarious and so true to life!

Here's one of the cards we made at my September card clubs. It features the Christmas Season bundle. But as you can see, it's not just for Christmas!

I love using non-traditional colors for Fall. I used Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay, Vanilla and Crushed Curry. We stamped the images and then added texture with the Timber or Timeworn Type 3D embossing folders.

Nuts About Squirrels Z-Fold card!

The Nuts About You stamp set is just plain cute! It's a 2-step set as you can see. The squirrels, leaves and even acorn have two images each so there's no need to color!

I created this card for our Flowerbug's Team swap in September. Our theme was Fall or Halloween.

Card stock & ink colors are Cinnamon Cider, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz

See that little surprise pop-up circle inside? That's attached with a thin strip of window sheet and adhered to the inside of the Early Espresso strip.

- Cinnamon Cider 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" & scrap for die-cut greeting
- Early Espresso 1 1/2" X 11" scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" & 3 1/2" X 4 7/8"
