Ready to Ride card kit to go; it’s for both guys & gals!

I chose the Ready to Ride specialty designer paper for one of my April card kits to go; it has wonderful black foil designs on one side and fun prints on the other.  It even has a few flowers for the gals; it's not all about men here! 

These cards include multiple fun folds as I like to do; they add a fun element for both the creator and the recipient.   

Ready to Ride Save

There 2 each of 5 designs in this card kit.  There's a pre-cut kit to go option AND a PDF tutorial only option in my store here.  

The pre-cut kit to go includes 1/2 pkg. of the Ready to Ride specialty DSP (6" X 12"), a share of both Classic Matte dots and Baker's Twine Essentials pack.  The pre-cut card pieces, die-cuts and punched pieces are all included. 

Supplies needed:

  • Black ink & adhesives
  • a paper trimmer to cut your new DSP (using the measurements in the tutorial).
  • Greeting images – I used the Legendary Ride and Celebrating You stamp sets, but you can substitute any greeting images you already own.

The PDF tutorial is added on free and includes step by step directions, photos, measurements and a supply list.  It's $20 in product for just $28!  The tutorial is sent to you via email immediately after payment from my Shop here.  

The other option is my PDF tutorial seen here.  It's $15 and it's emailed to you immediately after payment.  

The neat thing about my kits and tutorials are that you get great ideas for creating; whether it's with this theme or others.

  • We’re making explosion pop-up cards!!

    On my Stamp with Me Live I shared these cards and how easy it is to make an explosion card.  

    These cards look pretty ordinary from the front but there's a surprise inside; see below:

    Isn't it cool?  And it's super easy to do.  It's a 6" square of designer paper that you fold in halves with a bone folder. No measuring at all!

    Here's a masculine birthday made with the Plaid Tidings designer paper and Many Mates stamp set.

    These are so fun to make.  And you can add a bit more fun to the card by adding in some confetti, punched pieces or sequins to the inside.  What a surprise they'll enjoy!

    Measurements to prep:

    Card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"
    Front – DSP: one at 1 3/4" X 4 1/4" across, banners are 1 1/2" X 5 1/2" and 1 1/2" X 4 1/2"
    Greeting on a punched or die-cut circle, layered with other punches or dies.
    Inside DSP is 6" square, White is 2 3/4" square.
    Additional supplies:
    Ink, embellishments, bone folder, dimensionals, glue
     
    Products used:
    Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce & Pretty Peacock CS
    Classic Christmas, 'Tis the Season & Plaid Tidings DSP.
    Other: Poinsettia Petals & Many Mates stamp sets, Snowflakes, Circles Collection & Poinsettia dies plus Tailored Tag & Label Me Lovely punches

  • Mini Coffee Carriers; a special gift with treats & glue stands!

    Have you noticed the mini coffee carriers on page 9 of the Holiday catalog? They're actually quite large and should not be called mini!  You can see the entire suite here. 

    My friend Marilyn made this one for me; casing the catalog project on page 10.  It's so cool!

    She used the Heartwarming Hugs and Wrapped in Christmas stamp set.  She wrapped her coffee cups with Real Red CS. Tip; use strong adhesive like Tear & Tape for this.

    Here's another version. I made these for my Flowerbug's Team that attended OnStage@Home a few weeks ago.  It was filled with treats, apple cider packet and a liquid glue stand that we make *see photo below

    I actually sprayed my coffee cups with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and Real Red ink refill.
