Ready to Ride card kit to go; it’s for both guys & gals!

I chose the Ready to Ride specialty designer paper for one of my April card kits to go; it has wonderful black foil designs on one side and fun prints on the other.  It even has a few flowers for the gals; it's not all about men here! 

These cards include multiple fun folds as I like to do; they add a fun element for both the creator and the recipient.   

Ready to Ride Save

There 2 each of 5 designs in this card kit.  There's a pre-cut kit to go option AND a PDF tutorial only option in my store here.  

The pre-cut kit to go includes 1/2 pkg. of the Ready to Ride specialty DSP (6" X 12"), a share of both Classic Matte dots and Baker's Twine Essentials pack.  The pre-cut card pieces, die-cuts and punched pieces are all included. 

Supplies needed:

  • Black ink & adhesives
  • a paper trimmer to cut your new DSP (using the measurements in the tutorial).
  • Greeting images – I used the Legendary Ride and Celebrating You stamp sets, but you can substitute any greeting images you already own.

The PDF tutorial is added on free and includes step by step directions, photos, measurements and a supply list.  It's $20 in product for just $28!  The tutorial is sent to you via email immediately after payment from my Shop here.  

The other option is my PDF tutorial seen here.  It's $15 and it's emailed to you immediately after payment.  

The neat thing about my kits and tutorials are that you get great ideas for creating; whether it's with this theme or others.

  • Bamboo Beauty with unique backgrounds & video tutorial

    The Bamboo Beauty stamp set caught my eye right away.  I knew it would be perfect for unique background techniques. click here to see it.

    What do you think?  I know some people aren't into bamboo or this Asian style but it's so my style!  I call this type of set a 'scene builder' which inspires me to use techniques to create unique backgrounds.

    I'm focusing on this card today.  The colors are Misty Moonlight, Black & White with a touch of purple.  I used Fresh Freesia on the upper left card and Highland Heather on the right. I used our Blending Brushes for the background, black twine from the Essentials pack and a greeting label from the Messages die.

  • Hand Penned Corner Latch Fold. And last day to get a free class kit in the mail!

    I love this fun fold so much I chose to feature it for my June Card Clubs.  The Hand-Penned Designer Paper is perfect for it.

    This unique fun fold makes great use of your card stock.  The front flap is cut off from one end of your main card base.  Measurements are below.

    Measurements: 

    • Card base 4 1/4" X 11", scored at 5 1/2". Trim off 2 3/4" from one end & save.
      DSP – 2 pieces at 2 1/2" X 4"
      Corner is 2 1/4" square; cut in half on the diagonal
      White inside is 3" X 4 1/4"

  • Easy Pinwheel ‘Patch’ cards with video!

    Last night I featured Pinwheel cards on my FB Live 'Stamp with Me'.  I shared my method of making these easily in the video below. 

    Here's my favorite!

    Pinwheel card Polished Pink Save

    The card above is made with Polished Pink CS, Pattern Play DSP, Dots & Checks embossing folder duo and In Symmetry stamp set.  I colored the white ribbon with Polished Pink blends.

    This next card featured Bumblebee with the 2020-22 In Color prints and the cute buffalo check (Pattern Party Hostess DSP seen on page 171).

    Below are the cards I made featuring Sweet Symmetry DSP seen here.  It's one of 9 designer paper packs that will be on sale in July! 

    The card bases are Calypso Coral, ink and layers are Night of Navy.
