Rainbow of Happiness shaker card with video tutorial

I played with the Rainbow of Happiness bundle on Facebook Live earlier this week.  Here's a neat shaker card I made:

Shaker cards look difficult but they're fun AND easy!  Watch the video below to see how it's done.

It's hard to see in the photo above but the paper inside the shaker is our Rainbow Glimmer specialty paper from the annual catalog.  I share a neat trick to get these rainbow die-cuts in place in the video below or click here.

Here are some details:

  • The large rainbow is made with the Brilliant Rainbow dies – it's part of the Rainbow of Happiness bundle. 
  • The small clouds are die-cut from our Supple Shimmer paper & the Rainbow dies
  • The sequins & beads in the shaker are from the Sparkle & Shine sequins
  • I used our Foam Adhesive strips on the back side of the White die-cut piece to raise it and keep the shaker pieces in place.
  • The large clouds are punched with our new Cloud Punch. One is punched from the Sunshine & Rainbows free DSP during our Sale-a-Bration promotion. See it here.

The card above on the left has a cloud bank made with our Border Basic dies and our new Supple Shimmer paper.  Stampin' Up! is terrific at coordinating their products so incredibly.

  • Easy Tri-fold card with a pocket and video tutorial

    I LOVE this special project today!  I made it on FB Live yesterday but you can see it here on YouTube now too. 

    Whimsy trifolds Save

    It features the Whimsy & Wonder DSP, Merriest Moments stamp set, Iridescent Snowflakes, Basic Border and Tailor Made Tags dies.  

    They're tri-fold pocket cards made with a 5 1/2" X 12" piece of Designer Paper.  I used the Whimsy & Wonder specialty paper seen here.

    Here's the inside view of the pink card on the top left.  I love how it shows off both sides of the Designer paper.

    They feature multiple tags and a pocket for either a tag, gift card or photo!

  • Fun & Unique Christmas tree from scraps!

    Check out this amazing card Tracey made using scraps of Heartwarming Hugs Designer series paper!

    She cut 1/4" strips from her DSP and arranged them across a stamped & textured White card stock layer.  She used the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder seen here.  The stamped images are from Very Versailles.  

    Tracey is one of the talented Flowerbug's on my Team of demonstrators.  We have a fabulous & friendly group! Most are happy stampers enjoying the discount & perks but some hold classes & events.
