Pumpkin Patch pop-up Fun Fold card

Paula made this super special fun-fold card for our September Team card swap: 

Sept Paula Pumpkin patch Save

Can you see how the framed scene is lowering as the card is opened?  She cased this idea from Creating with Kristina who cased it from Sharon Armstrong.  

The colors are Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Mossy Meadow and White. Her DSP is from the Take to the Sky pack. The dies to create the frame are called Countryside Corners dies and can be seen here.

Isn't that neat?!  It's been awhile since I've made one of these types of cards but her card inspires me to make one.

If you look closely at the stamped scene you can tell that she masked her pumpkins & fence. Her sponged sky & grass sure add to the realistic scene!  So well done!

  • Favored Flowers and Beautifully Happy – lots of ideas to inspire you!

    Today I'm featuring the Favored Flowers and Beautifully Happy Sale-a-Bration choices.  This awesome promotion ends tomorrow!  Do you have everything you want yet?

    1. It's Distinktive and a 2-step set!  Distinktive means it gives two or more hues of color with one stamping.  Love these! 
    2. It's flowers!  Botanical sets tend to be among my faves. 
    3. The greetings are wonderful; I especially like the mixed font.  
    4. Okay; here's a 4th reason – it doesn't have to be colored in.  The solid stamps do it for you!

    When I first saw this stamp set I wasn't thrilled.  But once I had it in my hand and played with it I love it!  People are so clever – using it as trees and rainbow carrots!  And the sentiments are super 'punny'.  Such a special and unique set!
