Prized Peony bundle; wow!

Look at these gorgeous cards Mary and Karen made for a Flowerbug's Team swap last month.  They both used items in the new Peony suite seen here.

Mary's colors are Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam with Gray Granite.  She sponged a bit of Petal Pink onto the Peony petals.  The other products here are the new Vellum square doilies and Elegant Faceted Gems. that designer paper is from the In Good Taste package seen here.

Karen used the Peony Garden designer paper as a background and the new Magenta Madness card stock with Pear Pizzazz & Old Olive for leaves.  That pretty scalloped edge is included in the Peony dies.  

You might think it's difficult to put the peony flower together, but Stampin' Up! made it super easy.  It's just 4 die-cuts and they layer easily.  You match up the bottom edge of each die-cut for a perfect fit each time.  I made a video of it here on FB.

  • Eden’s Garden card in fresh colors

    The Eden's Garden collection is featured in greens, gold & white.  See it here.

    Well I thought I'd play with purple, green & white for this pretty card.  

    Eden's Garden grape Save

    I stamped the images in Old Olive & Gorgeous Grape along one side of the card. Then I textured it with the Timeless Type 3D embossing folder.  Lastly I added a greeting on a Picture This die-cut. 

    Measurements: 

    • card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • White 3 3/4" X 5"
    • Old Olive 4" X 5 1/4"

    I love seeing what my Flowerbugs make for our monthly Team swaps.  Swaps are optional and fun for those who choose to join in.

    Today I'm sharing two cards; one birthday and one Christmas.

    First is Tammi's card made with the Biggest Wish stamp set & the Pattern Party designer paper.  If you're wondering where this paper is from it's a Hostess choice.  You can get it as part of your free products with an order over $150.  That's when hostess benefits kick in.

    She added a wrap of the Black glittered ribbon around her 4"X 5 1/4" card front which brings in the Black stamped images to coordinate.  Here DSP is 4" X 3".  

    Next up is Candy's pretty wreath card.  

    She used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a wreath stamping around a masked off circle in the center.  What a great way to use a stamp set that isn't even Christmas!

    I believe her colors are Real Red, Garden Green & Blackberry Bliss.  The greeting is from the Merriest Moments.  The corner accents are from the Detailed Trio punch. I love her itty bitty bow!

    Here are two more cards made by my talented Flowerbugs! Both used the Expressions in Ink suite. 

    Candace made this first one using a nice piece of the beautiful Expressions in Ink specialty DSP.  She stamped her greeting and leaves directly onto the DSP using Evening Evergreen ink.

    Then she stamped the large flower on a separate piece of White CS and die-cut it out using the Artistic Dies.  Lovely!

    Tracey made this one using just the Artistically Inked stamp set.  She stamped all of her images on the White CS and added that to a layer of textured White CS.  She used the Timber 3D embossing folder.

    You can see she added a bit of sponging to the embossed layer to really bring out the texture.
