Pretty Christmas Classics card; video & free project sheet

We made this pretty card at my November card clubs. I also featured it on last week's video too. 

Christmas Classics 2 Save

I feel the clean layout shows off the pretty die-cuts. A simple piece of designer paper and a textured background add all the details needed to make this stand out card.

I gave them a few choices on their cards – greetings and embossing folders.

    • Black – card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2", Black scalloped circle 2 3/4", plus a 2" X 4 1/2" strip, scored every inch for the flip box & a 3/4" X 2" strip for the flip part
    • White inside 4" X 5 1/4", White circle 2 1/3"
      Heartwarming Hugs DSP 1 1/2" X 4"
      Red circle 2 7/8"

  • Eden’s Garden card in fresh colors

    The Eden's Garden collection is featured in greens, gold & white.  See it here.

    Well I thought I'd play with purple, green & white for this pretty card.

    I stamped the images in Old Olive & Gorgeous Grape along one side of the card. Then I textured it with the Timeless Type 3D embossing folder.  Lastly I added a greeting on a Picture This die-cut. 

    Measurements: 

    • card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • White 3 3/4" X 5"
    • Old Olive 4" X 5 1/4"

    I love seeing what my Flowerbugs make for our monthly Team swaps.  Swaps are optional and fun for those who choose to join in.

    Today I'm sharing two cards; one birthday and one Christmas.

    First is Tammi's card made with the Biggest Wish stamp set & the Pattern Party designer paper.  If you're wondering where this paper is from it's a Hostess choice.  You can get it as part of your free products with an order over $150.  That's when hostess benefits kick in.

    She added a wrap of the Black glittered ribbon around her 4"X 5 1/4" card front which brings in the Black stamped images to coordinate.  Here DSP is 4" X 3".  

    Next up is Candy's pretty wreath card.  

    She used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a wreath stamping around a masked off circle in the center.  What a great way to use a stamp set that isn't even Christmas!
