Pleased as Punch; another fun fold card with optional pocket

I knew I wanted to make the focus of this card a square shape so I could add four pieces of the Designer Paper on the front with the greeting on top. So I had to figure out a way for the side to be separate. I rarely make square cards so this was my compromise.

I adhered the side flap to the card base just at the outside edges to form a pocket. This is for either money or a gift card.

Details:

Front greeting is Seriously the Best stamp set. I cut apart the 'Hello Friend' greeting so I could ink it up separately.
Inside stamps and front flowers are from the Thoughtful Blooms set; free during our Sale-a-Bration promotion.
Flower punch is the Small Bloom punch; free during Sale-a-Bration.
Front stitched die-cut is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies

Measurements:

Mango Melody card base – 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". I cut up to the score line at 1 1/4" on the outside edge. The extra piece is textured with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. It measures 7/8" X 4"
White – 4" square
Balmy Blue 1" X 5"

Field & Flower Mystery Card

I am holding a mystery card challenge with me Team. I send them a variety of pieces in a card base and challenge them to use them to create a card. They can cut up or punch, or add anything to create an original card.

This week I'm sharing a few projects with the pretty Field & Flower DSP (seen here) from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. It's currently free with any $50 order US.

Here is what I came up with for my Mystery card:

In their packet I added a White card base, a large piece of Flower & Field designer series paper, a strip of Bumblebee CS, punched Black & white pieces and some Bumblebee ribbon. I decided to add a few stitched flowers from the Pierced Bloom dies (seen here). Look at this amazing stitching!

The Black center is from the Perennial Petal dies (seen here) however. I love that cute die! The greeting is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set.

To create this angled piece I started with a 4" X 4 1/4" piece of designer paper and just cut it in half on the diagonal. It really doesn't matter what your angle is. Then I added a strip of Bumblebee CS underneath the diagonal cut. So easy!

Quick cards with the Field & Flower DSP & In Color cards & envelopes

Have you noticed our In Color cards & envelopes? They're called Flowers for Every Season Memories & More cards & envelopes; whew! That's a long name, right?! See them on page 154 of the annual catalog or click here. They're larger than our average card at 4 1/4" X 6 1/4" and come with 10 printed cards and envelopes. All for $11 and in our pretty 2020-22 In Colors.

This week I'm sharing cards made with this beautiful Flower & Field DSP; it's free with any $50 order in February during Sale-a-Bration. See it here.

Here I added a piece of the Flower & Field DSP measuring 3" X 4" to these pretty cards. Then a layered greeting and a punched flower. So easy, but aren't they cute?!

I used a few of our Pick a Banner punches for the White 1" strip and the Blossom punch for the flower. I added a vellum piece underneath punched with the Story Label punch. The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
