Two projects with the brand new Color & Contour bundle!!

I created these cards when I was working on some card swaps I participated in.  I like to create a bunch of cards and then decide which one's to use and mail out.  

I chose the Color & Contour bundle because it's full of wonderful dies perfect for the pretty floral image in the stamp set. And I'm glad it's a 2-step stamp set. 

For this first card I chose the Pale Papaya In Color and accented it with Black.

  1. The Scalloped Contour dies – the pretty Black scalloped border and the main scalloped rectangle; all in the same bundle.

Next is a card I did end up using for an online swap. The colors here are Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent.

Look at the new Gingham paper!  It's included in the Pansy Petals 12" designer series paper pack.  Look at the gorgeous ribbon!  It's so soft & pretty and available in all of our new In Colors.

  • Neat Double Decker pop-up card with measurements

    Today I'm sharing a new pop-up fold – at least it's new to me!  It's called a Double Decker pop up. 

    Masterfully Made 5 Save

    Measurements: 

    • White card base 8 ½” X 5 ½” scored at 2 1/8” & 4 ¼”
    • White inside pop-up box – 3 ½” square scored at ¾”, 1 ½”, 2 ¼” and 3”
    • Front textured piece 1 7/8” X 5 ¼”
    • Scalloped White inside die-cut is 3 1/8” X 4 ½”
    • Fresh Freesia is 2 ¾” X 3 ¾”
    • Designer Paper – 2 pieces per card; 2 ½” X 3 ½” & 4” X 5 ¼”

    The inside 'box' that pops up the scalloped rectangle layer is adhered to both the side and back of the card.  It folds flat when mailing but sure adds nice dimension when the card is opened.
