New Inked & Tiled in a Book Binding Easel fun fold card; video tutorial & measurements too!

I'm just a little bit in love with this special fun fold layout! I've made three versions of it this month….

I featured two new colors in our Stampin' Up! catalog – Boho Blue & Pebbled Path with returning Misty Moonlight & White.

I hope you watch the video here or below to see how to make this neat card. It's so much easier than it looks!

I knew this stamp set would be fun to play with. The greetings are wonderful and of course the botanical images are beautiful!

Details:

I stamped the large leaf repeatedly onto the Boho Blue layers using Versamark ink. I let it dry and then textured it with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder. I love this new folder!!
How did I get the two-tone colors on my flowers? I used both an ink pad and markers. I inked the flowers first in Boho Blue. Then I colored the stems using a Pebbled Path Stampin' Write marker. Huff and stamp! Why huff? Huffing with your moist breath re-moistens the ink on your stamp. This can be especially helpful with solid type stamps.
After stamping I used the same Pebbled Path marker to add more detail to the base of each flower.
For an easel card you need something to hold it open. I stamped the flower in the set onto a piece of Boho Blue and punched it out with the Petal Park Builder punch. I curled and distressed the petals and added it with a few Mini Dimensionals.

The card does lay flat for mailing.

I added a looped piece of the 2023-25 In Color Jute trim under my punched Oval greeting. I did sponge a bit of Boho Blue on the edges first.

Playful Patterns; Cue the confetti!

I was playing around with the Playful Patterns designer paper and came up with this fun, colorful card.

- Calypso Coral 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
- Playful Patterns DSP 3" square & 2" X 3"
- Night of Navy 3 1/8" square & 2 1/8" X 3 1/8"
- White scrap for Stitched Shape oval die-cut
Check out this colorful, patterned paper here. I am featuring it in one of my August card kits to go. I think it's perfect for summertime, birthdays, kids or any happy events.

Pampered Pets Easy Fun Fold card

This cute card starts out as a standard A2 card – 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". Adding just one extra score line creates this interactive, unique card!

I used the Pampered Pets stamp set and the Playful Pets designer paper. I colored the critters in with Blends markers and added a Playful Pets trinket with the Playful Pets trim and a glue dot. Sooo cute!

The scalloped White layer is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and the Real Red greeting is 1" X 4" and punched with the Lovely Labels PIck a Punch on both ends. Note the two different ends shown above.

The Happy Birthday greeting inside the left card is from the Best Year stamp set.

Today I have a few more beautiful card swaps from my Flowerbug's Team.

First is Jacki's card featuring the Forever Fern bundle.

She used two new In Colors; Misty Moonlight with Just Jade. The stamps are distinktive and the die-cuts in the Forever Flourishing dies are incredible! I love the touch of vellum she added.

Marilyn made this pretty card using the Posted For You stamp set. This one coordinates with the new Rectangular Postage punch.

Her colors are Misty Moonlight with Seaside Spray and a touch of Old Olive. She colored the images in with Blends markers. The greeting is from the Forever Fern stamp set.

Next is Karen's card. She used the Flowers for Every Season designer paper and it is the star of the card.
