New Horizons Side-step Easel cards with video tutorial

I shared these fancy fold cards on a recent FB live and thought you'd like to see them too. I used the gorgeous New Horizons designer paper seen here.

New Horizons tall side step easel Save

It's a unique side-step card.  This one is a vertical layout.  See the horizontal layout below. My stamps include the On the Horizon bundle and Let's Sail bundle.  See those neat 'pebbles' I added to the bottom?  Those are in the 2022 January-June catalog but are currently out of stock.  They'll be back at the end of March.  

The global supply issues are affecting our product quite a bit.  Stampin' Up! is doing everything they can to keep us updated and getting our products as quickly as possible.  

Measurements:

  • Blackberry Bliss 4 1/4" X 9" scored at 1 1/4", 2 1/2" & 5 3/4"
  • Vertical CS is 2 1/2" X 8 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
  • DSP pieces are front 2 1/4" X 5 1/4", strip on front 1" X 4", back is 3" X 4"

  • 5 1/2" X 8" Misty Moonlight CS scored at 3", 6" and 7"
  • Vertical easel piece is 3" X 6" scored at 4 1/4" 
  • DSP 2 3/4" X 4" and 3/4" X 5 1/4" strip, back DSP is 2 3/4" X 5 1/4"

  • More swaps from my talented Demo friends

    I have a few more swaps to share with you today.  These are all from our newest Online Exclusive products. 

    First up is a pretty floral card from Susan Campfield. She used the Happy Hibiscus bundle.

    This bundle includes a Hybrid embossing folder that includes dies that coordinate with the folder!  It's so cool. You can see it here in my store. 

    In the photo below you can see the die-cut images that are textured. This is done when the die is inserted into the embossing folder with the card stock.  Yes; it is incredible! 

    HAPPY HIBISCUS BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

    The next few cards feature the Marbled Elegance suite: 

    This first pretty card is made by Natalie Travis who made the focus of her card that gorgeous golden stitched heart.

    That pretty heart is die-cut with the Hearts of Elegance dies from our new Brushed Metallic paper in both Gold & Silver. See that here. 

    Her measurements are simple – the DSP is 4" X 3", a strip of Cherry Cobbler is 4 1/4" X 5/8" on a Pretty in Pink card base. 

    Next is a gorgeous card made by Sandy Carlson:

    Her colors are Melon Mambo with White and the same beautiful Marbled Elegance specialty DSP. She also used the new Hearts of Elegance bundle seen here.

  • Check out these swap cards from the Otterly Amazing Suite!

     

    Otterly Amazing Julie Save

    Two punched circles and a 3 1/2" square of DSP show off the elements in this Otter suite. The colors include Balmy blue, Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Early Espresso.

    This second swap with the Otterly Amazing suite is made by Tracy Jacobs.

    She created a fun fold by cutting up to the 5 1/2" score line at 1". That layer is adhered to the back of the card base so only the left card front opens. Simple but 'amazing' too!  It really shows off the playful scenes in the Otterly Adorable DSP.  See the DSP here.

  • New! Perfect Pairs stamp set

    I joined an online swap with my Demonstrator friends and knew you'd like to see them. They feature our newest Online Exclusive products.

    First up I'm sharing cards from the Perfect Pairs stamp set. This one was made by my sweet & fun friend Selene Kempton:

    What a cute layout! She used Crumb Cake with Petal Pink and Early Espresso. The White square is 2 1/2" and the other two are 2 3/4". Sweet & simple! The embossing folder is Dashing Designs from the Annual Catalog.
