Neat fun fold card 3 ways! With free tutorial & video

We made this special card at my January card clubs. They could choose between 3 colors and themes too!

I featured the Addressed to You stamp set for all three cards. See the cute ovals & rectangle with the ‘filled in’ images on the right? Those are all part of this unique stamp set! See it here.

I used the retiring Textured Notes dies seen here. They’re the stitched edge rectangle dies used twice on this card. They are on the last chance list right now and reduced in price too!

This card opens with a type of flip/flap feel. Here’s how we cut off the tabs on the card base. Once you score your card you’ll make a pencil mark from the top and bottom at 1″. Then trim off the corners.

My colors include Pool Party, White and either Pretty in Pink, Fresh Freesia or Peach Pie.

More details:

I used the images that finished the lined oval & rectangle to decorate the inside ‘left’ edge on the cards.
We used Blends markers to color in the small images.
The DSP is the Beach Boardwalk designer paper for the left edge.
The greetings are from the stamp set called ‘The Right Words’ seen here. It’s one of my favorite greeting sets.

I was in the middle of the video tutorial for this card but the video failed right before I started the project. And I made my last packet. So I do not have a video for it. But hopefully the project sheet above helps you out.

Thoughtful Blooms; punch art vase & flowers!

I made this cute, springy card on Facebook Live yesterday. It features the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and Small Bloom punch. Both are free right now with an order during our Sale-a-Bration promotion.

That cute vase is made with the Tailored Tag punch. Punch from patterned paper and cut it in half!

I used a bit of the Brights 6 X 6" designer series paper. That's where the cute gingham designs come from. Did you know we have gingham paper in every single color right now? Each of our 6 color families have an assorted package with every color in the pack! So cool! The photo only shows one color but includes them all. See them all here.

Details:
- White stitched rectangle is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies
- Daffodil layer is 4 1/4" X 3 1/4"
- main card is White thick card stock 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
- Vase is made with the Tailored Tag punch
- The greeting is punched with the Classic Label punch
- the gingham paper is 1" X 2" – 2 pieces; one for the top and one for the bottom. No waste underneath the layers!

Golden Honey Birthday Candles! So cute!

I saw a card like this online and HAD to make one! I believe the original designer is Libby Fens. Look at this colorful, clever card!

I wish I'd come up with the idea myself but I cased it. Sometimes I feel a bit guilty casing from others. But when people case me I take it as a huge compliment. So I get over my guilt pretty quickly! 😉

The candles are made from the Golden Honey specialty designer paper that was available as part of our Sale-a-Bration offering. It is now sold out but I know many of you own it already so I thought I'd share the card for you. Or maybe you own some similar patterned paper you could use instead.

The candles are about 3/8" wide and 3" tall. The paper is originally white with gold diagonal dashes. I colored them in with Blends markers in light and dark of each color. The colors are Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather.

For the flames I punched out a daisy from the Medium Daisy punch in Gold Glimmer paper. I cut off the petals and adhered them under the top of each candle. Then I popped up each candle with mini dimensionals.

Card kit to go; craft safely in your own home!

There have been many closures and cancellations announced this week due to the Corona Virus. I am continuing to hold my small events so far as most are under 10 people. But if you're playing it safe and staying home, I have a great option for you to continue to craft in your home.
