Neat fun fold card 3 ways! With free tutorial & video

We made this special card at my January card clubs. They could choose between 3 colors and themes too!

I featured the Addressed to You stamp set for all three cards. See the cute ovals & rectangle with the ‘filled in’ images on the right? Those are all part of this unique stamp set! See it here.

I used the retiring Textured Notes dies seen here. They’re the stitched edge rectangle dies used twice on this card. They are on the last chance list right now and reduced in price too!

This card opens with a type of flip/flap feel. Here’s how we cut off the tabs on the card base. Once you score your card you’ll make a pencil mark from the top and bottom at 1″. Then trim off the corners.

My colors include Pool Party, White and either Pretty in Pink, Fresh Freesia or Peach Pie.

More details:

I used the images that finished the lined oval & rectangle to decorate the inside ‘left’ edge on the cards.
We used Blends markers to color in the small images.
The DSP is the Beach Boardwalk designer paper for the left edge.
The greetings are from the stamp set called ‘The Right Words’ seen here. It’s one of my favorite greeting sets.

I was in the middle of the video tutorial for this card but the video failed right before I started the project. And I made my last packet. So I do not have a video for it. But hopefully the project sheet above helps you out.

2 cute cards with the Pampered Pets bundle

I featured the Playful Pets bundle when I made these two cards at Tuesday's Facebook Live this week. This suite is absolutely adorable!

Here's a close up of the first card. The texture of the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder is so neat. It's subtle but still quite noticeable with a unique texture.

This card shows just a peak of the cute Playful Pets designer series paper between the textured layers.

See the paw prints on the bottom right? That is a die in the Pets dies. I placed a scrap of Black CS behind it to show it off. You can see the entire Playful Pets suite here.

The dog is cut from the Playful Pets DSP; the Pet dies match some of the images in the paper! I added a bit of the Playful Pets trim for a collar and a bone from the Pet Trinkets. Below are the measurements for this card:
- Real Red 5 ½” X 8 ½”, 1” X 5 ½”, 2 ¼” X 5 ½” textured pieces
- 1 ¼” X 5 ½” Designer Series Paper
Other products used: Tasteful Textile folder, Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles dies

The second card is a unique fold where the Black piece is the full back of the card and the Real Red is scored for the card opening. It's a fun and unique card that works well with our Designer paper. Whether you use 6 X 6" or 12 X 12" paper it all works without much waste when cutting.

Celebrate Sunflowers Triple Panel Card with video!

I made this card on Facebook Live last night on my weekly Monday night 'Stamp with Me'. It's such a fun technique!

I love blues and browns together and chose to use Just Jade, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Pool Party with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (seen here). What do you think of this color combination? One of my favorite things about creating is coming up with unique color combos.

I have some great tips on doing this technique.
- Start out with three colors of card stock measuring 3 1/2" X 4 1/2".
- Cut these into three strips 1 1/2" wide.
- Lay them together and adhere a piece of copy paper to the back side to keep them held together while stamping.
- Stamp large and small images all over the three colors of card stock with Soft Suede ink. *Always stamp the largest image first!
- Or use Designer Series Paper instead of stamps!
- Adhere to the Early Espresso layer (4 3/4" X 5"). Then to the full 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base.
The pool party greeting strips are either 3/4" or 1" wide by about 4" long. I used the new Pick a Punch (seen here) on the ends and added a thin strip (about 1/4") of Early Espresso card stock under it as an accent. I finished it with a double bow made with our Linen Thread.
