Inlaid technique video with Mountain View!

This gorgeous card was one of our January Card Club projects. Of course I love the colors of Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock.

I cased the idea from Cheryl Miller at Sense of Whimsy.

Here's how to make this pretty card.

First die-cut two trees from the main White panel one on the upper left and one on the lower right.
I sponged one of these die-cut white trees with Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple ink for the center tree.
Then die-cut two more trees from the Lily Impressions designer paper (free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration).
Adhere the White panel to the Coastal Cabana panel and then to the main Green card base.
Insert the two die-cut trees into the left and right die-cut areas for an inlaid effect. (I recommend Fine Tip glue or Multipurpose adhesive)
There's a trick to getting this unique greeting shape with the Tailored Tag punch. I share it on the video below.
I used the Sending you Thoughts stamp set and heat embossed the greeting.

Card kit to go; craft safely in your own home!

There have been many closures and cancellations announced this week due to the Corona Virus. I am continuing to hold my small events so far as most are under 10 people. But if you're playing it safe and staying home, I have a great option for you to continue to craft in your home.

Rise & Shine; a cute reversible stamp set!

We played with the Rise & Shine stamp set this weekend at Becky's workshop. I love these colors together!

It's Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Smoky Slate. We used the Detailed Trio punch to round the corners on opposite sides of our layers here.

The checked patterned paper is from the Pleased as Punch pkg seen here. It's available just through March.

Golden Honey Scrapbook Class with a kit to go option

Scrapbooking was my first paper crafting hobby. Now I spend a lot more time making cards than I do scrapbook pages.

I just knew the Golden Honey specialty designer paper would make gorgeous layouts! This designer paper is no longer available during Sale-a-Bration but I have a supply of it for these classes.

I made 5 beautiful, unique layouts with 12 X 12" card stock. Because this paper is black and white based with some gold accents I could add lots of fun colors to create my layouts. I LOVE black and white with a pop of color on my projects!

Here's a full view of two of them. This first layout has Bermuda Bay as the main color with the Detailed Bee dies. The page title is from the Hand-Lettered Prose dies seen here.

Here's another one in all black and white with gold accents. I added daisy punched accents on this page.

There isn't any stamping on these pages; it's all pre-cut, punched or die-cut pieces. It also includes the embellishments too. All you need is adhesive so it's perfect to finish up at home!

The class is on Saturday, March 28th at 2 pm. The cost is $25 for all 10 pages. It's also available as a kit to go for both local and long distance customers. It's an extra $5 for shipping. RSVP by March 19th to receive a kit.

The kit includes everything you see; pre-cut pieces, die-cuts, photos and tips on assembly. Kits are mailed out at the end of March.
