I love seeing what my Flowerbugs make for our monthly Team swaps.  Swaps are optional and fun for those who choose to join in.

Today I'm sharing two cards; one birthday and one Christmas.

First is Tammi's card made with the Biggest Wish stamp set & the Pattern Party designer paper.  If you're wondering where this paper is from it's a Hostess choice.  You can get it as part of your free products with an order over $150.  That's when hostess benefits kick in.

She added a wrap of the Black glittered ribbon around her 4"X 5 1/4" card front which brings in the Black stamped images to coordinate.  Here DSP is 4" X 3".  

Next up is Candy's pretty wreath card.  

She used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a wreath stamping around a masked off circle in the center.  What a great way to use a stamp set that isn't even Christmas!

I believe her colors are Real Red, Garden Green & Blackberry Bliss.  The greeting is from the Merriest Moments.  The corner accents are from the Detailed Trio punch. I love her itty bitty bow!

  • Artfully Layered birthday card with video

    Here's another pretty card I made during last week's FB Live. I featured the Artfully Layered bundle from the Jan-June Stampin' Up! catalog.  

    Artfully Layered leaf Save

    The colors include Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green with White.  I used three different dies in the Tropical Layers dies.  The rick-rack border, the leaf and the crosshatch texture. See the bundle here.   

    ARTFULLY LAYERED BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

    The greeting is heat embossed on the Coastal Cabana CS strip using White embossing powder.  Adding heat embossing to your project steps it up a lot!

    Tip: get two colors from one ink pad. Note the two shades of Coastal Cabana on the leaves on the lower left of the card?  I stamped off for the multiple leaves image once for a lighter hue.

    Yesterday was my weekly Facebook Live where I shared 3 projects featuring the Kite Delight stamp set in the 2022 January-June mini catalog. This cute stamp set is NOT coming back in the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalog.  See it here. 

    I added all of the upcoming new In Colors to this card! 

    Kite Delight in colors Save

    The clouds are heat embossed on the Balmy Blue CS using White embossing powder.  The clouds are an outline stamp but I wanted to fill them in to look 'white'.  So I used my Chalk Marker to color them in and love the effect!  I am so sad to report that this neat Chalk Marker was on the retiring list and is already sold out.  You could use White craft ink or White chalk pastels and color it in too. 

    The kite is stamped on White CS using Black Memento ink and colored in with the NEW In Color Blends markers. I fussy cut it and added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

    Kite Delight Save

    I stamped the sun image on a scrap of Daffodil Delight CS using Daffodil Delight ink and fussy cut it.  There is not a punch or dies to coordinate with this stamp set, but I didn't mind fussy cutting the kites or sun.  Easy to do!
