More Monochromatic swaps featuring flowers

I’m sharing more of my Team’s monochromatic swaps today. These pretty cards all feature flowers.

This first stunning card is made by Barb who used the Spotlight on Nature stamp set. I was shocked to see it on the Last Chance list and it’s already out of stock!

Joan is a master at coloring! Look at the shadow effect she achieved on the flowers and leaves! It looks like it’s raised but it’s simply stamped and Blends marker was added all around the image.

The other stamps she used are Sentimental Framing and Textured Notes. The inks are Granny Apple Green & Memento Black. She added Holographic Resin Dots, a linen thread bow and Wink of Stella on the butterfly to finish it off.

She gave me measurements I can share with you too!

Lemon Lime Twist 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″
Granny Apple Green 3 1/2″ X 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
White 3 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, inside is 3″ X 5″, greeting is 3 1/4″ X 1″
Season of Elegance DSP 2 pieces at 3/4″ X 5 1/2″

Next is a card made by Joan’s mom, Barb. It’s her first time swapping with us and she did a wonderful job!

Barb chose the Gallery Blooms stamp set. She stamped the flower in Night of Navy and used Wink of Stella to pull the color into the image. Very cool idea!

She used the Textured Notes dies (2nd & 3rd largest) for her blue layers of Night of Navy and Blueberry Bushel.

Measurements:

Night of Navy card base 4 1/4″ X 11″ score at 5 1/2″
Blueberry Bushel 4 3/4″ X 3/4″, scrap for greeting
White 2 3/4″ X 4 1/2″ for die-cut, inside is 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″

Next is a pretty card made by Candace featuring the pretty Charming Day bundle seen here.

Her colors include White, Soft Seafoam and Basic Gray. She added color to the floral die-cut with Blends markers and then added Wink of Stella to all of the die-cuts.

The pretty leaf die-cuts also have Soft Seafoam Blends added. The texture is the Exposed Brick embossing folder seen here. I just love the clean look of this pastel color with White.

Here’s the inside view. Simply stamping the flower image in the same ink is a beautiful say to finish it.

Newest 5 sheet wonder with Positive Thoughts

I knew the Positive Thoughts stamp set would be perfect for a one sheet wonder but it's even better with my 5 Sheet Wonder!

What is a 5 sheet wonder? See the templates above the cards here? Those are the 5 pre-measured templates you use for the layers on each of the cards. Absolutely no measuring here; just cut on the printed lines! My husband and I have created multiple 'wonders' with printed layers to make card making easy. See them all here.

The neutral 'one sheet wonder' template is what you stamp on, creating your own patterned paper. First you'll print the template on it then flip it over to stamp on. The other 4 templates are colored 'layers' for your cards. Cut on the printed lines for perfect layers!

I'm offering this class locally and as a kit to go or just the pdf tutorial for anyone else who cannot attend.

Local class is Tuesday, February 25th at 6 pm. Cost is $20 and includes the 10 cards with envelopes and the pdf tutorial. RSVP by Feb 23rd.

The kit to go includes the printed templates, 10 card bases and assorted ribbons. It does not include punched greetings or rhinestones. Cost is $20 plus $8.50 for Priority Shipping. Pleased as Punch; another fun fold card with optional pocket

I am loving the spring-like Pleased as Punch designer paper; it's available now while supplies last! See it here. I highly suspect this paper will run out before the end of March. I have no inside information but it's happened before and if you really want it; don't wait! click here to get yours.

I knew I wanted to make the focus of this card a square shape so I could add four pieces of the Designer Paper on the front with the greeting on top. So I had to figure out a way for the side to be separate. I rarely make square cards so this was my compromise.

I adhered the side flap to the card base just at the outside edges to form a pocket. This is for either money or a gift card.

Details:
- Front greeting is Seriously the Best stamp set. I cut apart the 'Hello Friend' greeting so I could ink it up separately.
- Inside stamps and front flowers are from the Thoughtful Blooms set; free during our Sale-a-Bration promotion.
- Flower punch is the Small Bloom punch; free during Sale-a-Bration.
- Front stitched die-cut is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies
Measurements:
- Mango Melody card base – 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". I cut up to the score line at 1 1/4" on the outside edge. The extra piece is textured with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. It measures 7/8" X 4"
- White – 4" square
- Balmy Blue 1" X 5"

Power of Hope meets Peacock Foil

For our February Flowerbug's Team swap we chose to do a swap featuring Sale-a-Bration cards. They are all fantastic! Over the top wonderful. I cannot wait to share them all with you.

Here's the one I made using the Power of Hope bundle seen here. It's one of the free items you receive with purchase during our Sale-a-Bration promotion from now through March 31st; or while supplies last. I do suspect this will sell out before March is over.

I textured the Noble Peacock Foil (seen here) with the Stone embossing folder from this bundle. Adding texture to this pretty foil brings it over the top! I also added a layer of vellum and a few flags of Peacock foil. It comes in 6 single-sided sheets of 12 X 12" foil paper. 2 each of 3 colors: Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock. There are Noble Peacock rhinestones that match this paper perfectly.
