The last of the Beautiful Fun Fold card swaps

This is the last bunch of Fun Fold cards this week; each one has been made by my talented Flowerbug's Team.

Sue made this pretty and unique card using the Positive Thought stamp set.

She used the Positive Thoughts stamp set and the Cross of Hope dies (on sale right now for just $10.80; they were $27.00!)

Petal Pink – 5 1/2" X 4 1/4"
Blackberry Bliss 6 3/4" X 5 3/4" scored at 4"
Whisper White – 7 1/2" X 5" scored at 3 5/8"

Next is Karen's pretty card featuring the Magnolia Blooms stamp set and the Magnolia Lane designer paper. This pretty paper is also on sale; at $8.05 right now while supplies last here. She colored the flower in with the Petal Pink blends markers.

Petal Pink 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2", small layer is 3 1/4" square
White inside is 4" X 5 1/4", front is 2 3/4" square
Black is 3" square

Candy made this beautiful card, also with the Positive thoughts stamp set and coordinating Nature's Thoughts dies.

That gorgeous rectangle die-cut is from the Ornate Layers dies here. They're amazing!!! Her colors are Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and a splash of Coastal Cabana. Here's the inside view:

Rich Razzleberry 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 2 1/8" from each end
Very Vanilla inside is 5 1/4" X 4", plus a piece for the rectangle die-cuts
Crumb Cake pieces are 1 7/8" X 5 1/4"

Mary made this pretty card using the Free as a Bird stamp set and the Bird Ballad designer paper.

She colored the birds with Blends markers; so soft and pretty!

Whisper White 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 2 1/8" from each end. The inside White Nested Label die-cut is 4 3/4" X 2 5/8"
Front stamped layer and Bird Ballad designer paper piece are 2 1/4" X 3 3/4".
Pool Party layers 2 1/2" X 4"

2 fabulous cards with the Hand-Penned Designer Paper

I have two pretty cards to share with you today; both from my Flowerbug Team swaps in June. Both are made with the Hand-Penned DSP which is on sale right now. Instead of $11.50 it's just $9.78. See the sale on all 9 packs of Designer Paper here.

First is a card by Marilyn. She made a corner latch card. I've shared a few of those in the past weeks; it's a fabulous and super simple but special fold anyone can make. Below are the measurements.

She made it even more special by adding a 'stitched' corner to hers. She used a few sets of dies here; the Triangle and Pierced Bloom dies all in the Annual Catalog. The greeting is from the In Bloom stamp set.

Measurements:
- Card base 4 1/4" X 11", scored at 5 1/2". Trim off 2 3/4" from one end & save.
  DSP – 2 pieces at 2 1/2" X 4"
  Corner is 2 1/4" square; cut in half on the diagonal
  White inside is 3" X 4 1/4"
Next is a card Karen made using Misty Moonlight and our new In Color Shimmer vellum.

She used the Penned Flower dies for the flowers and the Scalloped Contours dies for the scalloped White greeting. Her card really shows off this pretty patterned paper!

Triple Pane Bamboo Beauty with a masked moon

Two-toned cards can be especially striking and I think this Bamboo Beauty card done in greens proves the point.

I used just one color of ink here; Old Olive however the card base is Mossy Meadow. I did stamp off once before stamping some of the images. I made this card in a recent FB Live video. You can see it here. Or scroll down to view it on my blog below.

I started with a 3 1/2" X 4 3/4" piece of White CS. I placed a post-it note mask made with a 1 3/4" circle on it for the moon before sponging and stamping. It's really quite easy to do (see in the video)!

Afterwards I trimmed the stamped White CS into three pieces measuring 1 9/16th" wide. The tag is made with the Tailor Made Tags dies.

Bamboo Beauty with unique backgrounds & video tutorial

What do you think? I know some people aren't into bamboo or this Asian style but it's so my style! I call this type of set a 'scene builder' which inspires me to use techniques to create unique backgrounds.

I'm focusing on this card today. The colors are Misty Moonlight, Black & White with a touch of purple. I used Fresh Freesia on the upper left card and Highland Heather on the right. I used our Blending Brushes for the background, black twine from the Essentials pack and a greeting label from the Messages die.
