Grab the May’s Paper Pumpkin kit by Wednesday, May 10th – Exploring In Colors!

I'm looking forward to the May Paper Pumpkin kit this month.  It looks like it's full of nature themed cards.

I love that they give us a hint about what we'll receive each month.  This lets subscribers decide if they want to get it, order an extra or opt out.  I spy wood rounds, flowers and pinecones.

This May kit includes:

  • All the supplies you need to create 9 card, 3 each of 3 designs, plus 9 coordinating envelopes.
  • A 7-piece all-occasion stamp set that celebrates good friends and great adventures!
  • 1 Copper Clay (new In Color!) Classic Stampin’ Spot.
  • Twine and die-cut accents
  • FREE stickers to put on your projects or anything you want—water bottles, laptops, coolers, and more!
  • Finished card size: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Coordinating Stampin’ Up! colors: Boho Blue, Copper Clay, Daffodil Delight, Moody Mauve, Mossy Meadow, Pebbled Path, Wild Wheat

Subscribers also get to add on the Exploring In Color cards & envelopes this month.  They're available while supplies last.

What a fantastic deal!!  I always get these; the value is incredible!  18 cards and 18 envelopes for just $10. To me it looks like all these pretty cards need is a greeting to finish them off. See them here.

It's one of the perks of being a subscriber.  They offer us some fun add-ons now & then.  I also like that we get to order kit refills if and when they become available. Refills of the monthly kits are usually $11 and include everything in the original kit except the ink spot & stamps.

Want to receive a crafty kit each month?  Here's the link to subscribe.

Remember YOU are in charge of which kits you receive. We get a hint of the kit almost a month before you're charged. I follow Paper Pumpkin Facebook group where the hints are shared on the 11th of each month.  Kits are billed on the 10th.

Or choose a pre-paid subscription – you can choose from a 1, 3, 6 or 12 month subscription here.

  • Hey Girlfriend with a paper strips background!

Coloring these sweet girls can be intimidating but not with our Blends markers!  Look at her!

I will admit that my friend & team member Audrey colored this one.  She shared a bunch of stamped & colored girls with me and I've made a few cards with them.  If you look closely you can see the changes in color hue that gives great dimension. Such as her skirt. See how the outside is darker than the inside?  Same with her cheeks.

The Blends markers are fabulous tools!

I had a bunch of colored card stock strips laying on my desk and decided to use them for a background.  I cut some into thinner strips to add interest. I did not measure; they vary in widths which adds some interest & fun.

I adhered them to a 3 1/2" X 4 3/4" piece of card stock. Then I trimmed off the excess and added the entire piece to a piece of 3 5/8" X 4 7/8" piece of Black CS before I added it to the White card base.

This stamp set will not be carried over; it will retire in June.  You can see it here.
