Masterfully Made & Wanted to Say quick card ideas with video tips

And our annual Stampin' Sale is done!  Each June my customers and I host a paper crafting sale – this year we had 30 sellers and we had a fabulous turnout!

That photo was just the stamps for sale; we had so much more!  I wish you could be here for it, but I know it is a long way for some to Minot, ND.  But if you're near me, plan for the weekend after Father's Day. Make a road trip if you can.  
We had one person come from St. Louis and another who was in town visiting from Peru!  They were so glad to be here for this annual event.

Last week I shared three card ideas featuring three products: Masterfully Made designer series paper, Wanted to Say dies and Border Basics dies. Here's one of them:

Wanted to Say Feel better Save

The Masterfully Made designer paper features a torn edge look to a few of the sheets.  I chose this one because of it's beautiful colors.  I added Berry Burst, Fresh Freesia and Azure Afternoon in the die-cuts from the Wanted to Say dies.  This set of dies has a detailed and a layered die for each set of words in the set, plus a bunch of other dies like the flowers I used here. The angled border on the White card base is die-cut with the Basic Borders dies seen here.  I love these and use them often.  You can see them here.  I saved the piece I die-cut and used it on another card.  Here are both of the cards I made, using two different sheets of the Masterfully Made DSP.

  • The Gang’s All Meer cute window card

    This stamp set was one of the top free choices at my New Catalog Launch party earlier this month.  People are loving it!

    I chose to create a window card to highlight these cute critters.  We stamped them in Early Espresso and colored in with Crumb Cake blends markers. 

    **Did you know that when stamping an image you plan to color with our Blends markers you can use any color of our Classic ink pads?  They are water based and the markers are alcohol based.

    • Coastal Cabana frame is 4" X 3 1/2" and I used a 2 5/8" square die to cut the window.
    • The main card is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" thick White card stock
    • 1 3/8" scalloped circle for the greeting and 1 1/2" circle in Daffodil Delight
    • two 1/2" X 4" strips of Birthday Bonanza designer series paper

  • Honey Bee & Little Ladybug; choice!

    I received this gorgeous swap card from my friend Diana Gibbs. I just love it!

    Sweet and simple; but a big wow in my opinion.  The bees are colored with Blends markers in Seaside Spray and Mango Melody plus a little Wink of Stella on the wings.

    I used a Light Flirty Flamingo Blends marker and the Wink of Stella and So Saffron ink for the belly. A bit of Petal Pink for the faces and sponging on the circles as well.  We added Gold pearls for an accent which pairs nicely with the Golden Honey specialty DSP. 

    The card stock measures 4" X 5 1/4" white, DSP is 1 7/8" X 5" and the Black is 2" X 5".  The circles here are 3/4", 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" in size. 

    Below you can see how we stamped the inside of the card.
