Masterful Monochromatic Floral Swap cards by my Flowerbugs

Today is the last of the pretty monochromatic cards my Flowerbug's gals made for our January swap. The theme was a challenge for some but others found it easy. Have you made a monochromatic card before? If not try it!

This first card was made by Tracey using the Meadow dies in Blushing Bride & White.

There are so many beautiful details!

All of these flowers, butterfly & greeting dies are from the Meadow dies seen here. They're cut from White, Bushing Bride & Vellum CS
The texture is from the Bark 3D embossing folder seen here.
She sponged on one of the die-cuts and the textured piece too.
The greeting is heat embossed using White embossing powder

Next is a card made by Ginny using the Color & Contour bundle seen here. She chose to use the In Color Pale Papaya.

The designer paper is from our 6 X 6" In Color assorted DSP pack seen here. Did you know we have patterned paper in each of our Stampin' Up! colors! I love how easy it is to coordinate our products with our color line. It just makes me happy!

Next is a card Candace made using the new Sale-a-Bration free bundle called Friendly Hello seen here.

Here are the details:

Her colors are Blushing Bride & Flirty Flamingo. She stamped her flowers on both the greeting circle and the Blushing Bride card base.
She used the Basic Border dies to trim off the front edge for a stitched detail.
The striped DSP is on the inside of the card. It's from the Host Pattern Party DSP
She textured the larger circle with the new Gingham embossing folder.
The ribbon is our new Frayed White ribbon in the Jan-June catalog.

Blossoms in Bloom; another pretty cards duo

Today I have a pair of cards made with the 'Split Technique'. This is where you stamp or die-cut once to get two cards.

I used the Blossoms in Bloom bundle seen here, cutting out two sets of floral dies. I'm sharing lots of projects featuring this incredible bundle this week.

I sponged the thicker die-cut with Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. Then I adhered the thin die-cut over the sponged one using liquid multipurpose adhesive. Next I cut the full, layered die-cut in half so I could place each half on a card.

What do you think of this color combination? I like to find unique combinations when I play with Stampin' Up!'s gorgeous variety of colors.

The Many Layered Blossoms dies includes two large dies and several smaller flowers. The two large dies include both a finely cut and a thicker blossom die for effortless layering. I cut out once of each; both from Whisper White card stock.

The Highland Heather layer is textured with the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. It's very subtle and gives a delicate textile pattern.

The greeting die-cut banner is from the Tasteful Labels dies; stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.

Forever Fern video; an easy trio of gorgeous cards

I can't stop playing with the Forever Fern stamp set! It's so easy to make beautiful cards with and with some of my favorite 'go to' color combos.

I made these cards and recorded it on video so you could see how fast they can be. There are three different card layouts all using the same three colors. Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and Bermuda Bay inks with these same card stock colors plus Coastal Cabana and Whisper White.

The White greeting die is from the Tasteful Labels dies. I hand cut the larger one.

Measurements for this card:
- Granny Apple Green 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base
- Gorgeous Grape 3 3/4" X 5"
- Whisper White 3 pieces at 3 1/2" X 1 1/2"

I used a masking & sponging technique here and added a die-cut from the Flourishing Fern dies too.

- Coastal Cabana card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
- White 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
- Gorgeous Grape 3 5/8" X 4 7/8"

A simple card base of Gorgeous Grape 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and White at 5 1/4" X 4". Did you catch that I sponged the corner of the left one? Which do you prefer?

Flowers for Every Season

The Flowers for Every Season paper pack is the only 6 X 6" papers in the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalog. Many people love the 6 X 6" papers; they find them easier to cut into for some reason.

I decided to use them for last week Monday night's Stamp with Me video. Here's a link to it on Facebook.

This is one of my favorite I made so far with this paper; I love the new Misty Moonlight in color. Paired with Night of Navy and White is quite striking in my opinion. Monochrome cards can be so soothing!

I also used the Small Bloom punch, 2020-22 In Color Enamel Dots and the Pick a Punch.
