Masterful Monochromatic Floral Swap cards by my Flowerbugs

Today is the last of the pretty monochromatic cards my Flowerbug's gals made for our January swap. The theme was a challenge for some but others found it easy. Have you made a monochromatic card before? If not try it!

This first card was made by Tracey using the Meadow dies in Blushing Bride & White.

There are so many beautiful details!

All of these flowers, butterfly & greeting dies are from the Meadow dies seen here. They're cut from White, Bushing Bride & Vellum CS
The texture is from the Bark 3D embossing folder seen here.
She sponged on one of the die-cuts and the textured piece too.
The greeting is heat embossed using White embossing powder

Next is a card made by Ginny using the Color & Contour bundle seen here. She chose to use the In Color Pale Papaya.

The designer paper is from our 6 X 6" In Color assorted DSP pack seen here. Did you know we have patterned paper in each of our Stampin' Up! colors! I love how easy it is to coordinate our products with our color line. It just makes me happy!

Next is a card Candace made using the new Sale-a-Bration free bundle called Friendly Hello seen here.

Here are the details:

Her colors are Blushing Bride & Flirty Flamingo. She stamped her flowers on both the greeting circle and the Blushing Bride card base.
She used the Basic Border dies to trim off the front edge for a stitched detail.
The striped DSP is on the inside of the card. It's from the Host Pattern Party DSP
She textured the larger circle with the new Gingham embossing folder.
The ribbon is our new Frayed White ribbon in the Jan-June catalog.

Hippo’s & Dandelions?

Today I have two more swap cards made by my talented Flowerbug's Team. I still have more to share yet!

The first card is made by a brand new demonstrator; Tracey. This was her first swap too! She used the new Hippo Happiness bundle.

Her colors are Just Jade, Daffodil Delight and Magenta Madness. She stamped her own background using some of the images in the set. That swirly die-cut we all love is from the Painted Labels die-cuts. Such a sweet card!

I LOVE these dies; look at all of the labels. There are 9 of them!

Karen made this pretty card below with the new Dandelions 3D embossing folder.

She used our Vellum card stock; did you know when you run it through an embossing folder it turns 'white' or opaque? So cool! You'll start looking at using vellum and your folders more now, right? She added adhesive to the back of the flower heads and behind the greeting.

Her sentiment if from the Forever Fern stamp set and is punched out with the new Rectangular Postage Punch.

Nothing’s Better Than cards

Have you noticed the 'Nothing's Better Than' bundle yet? You will want to check it out on page 91 of the Annual Catalog.

Candace made two CUTE cards with it and the new Rainbow Glimmer paper.

First up is a fun card with a ton of stitched die-cut circles from glimmer paper for a background.

Her colors are Just Jade with Misty Moonlight and Early Espresso. The stitched circles are all part of the Rainbow Glimmer paper!

Her next card uses the same bundle except she stamped and colored the chocolates and cookies this time. I believe she used watercolor pencils for her coloring.

Huge Stamping Sale!!!

This weekend is our annual Stamping sale where many of my customers sell off their excess paper crafting supplies. I have a fantastic crew of helpers I call my 'committee'. They set up the sale, do the books, and basically run the entire thing! I am so blessed to have them. Luckily they love it but it's a ton of work!

If you live near us in ND it's so worth a road trip!!! Gather some friends and stop in Saturday!

Remember, this is not my stash! I usually do not sell things here anymore. I save my items for my BOGO sales.
