Gorgeous, right? I cased this fold from my friend Susie Wood. I get so many fun fold ideas from her. Check out her blog here.

This stunning Luxe Foliage DSP is a Product of the Month and available while supplies last. See it here. You can redeem it for just $5 once your order reaches the $75 mark. There are 4 sheets of each pattern in this pack!

I paired it with Secret Sea, Gold foil and White here. On this card I used the Everyday Arches dies for the window and the Tile Garden stamp set for the leaves/stem.

This card involves die-cutting a window in the front layer of your card and reusing it on the inside scored White layer. You can catch on to how it opens in the above photo but it may help a lot if you watch the video here.

On the left card below I used a different set of dies for my window. First the Tile Garden dies to create a rectangle window. Yes; these dies are square…. so I cut a second time to create the rectangle window. The Gold textured frame is made with the Phrases & Frames dies seen here.

I fussy cut the gold/Secret Sea flower for the front layer. I love the images in the Tile Garden bundle; they have a texture to them.

I created a free project sheet for this card. Click here to download or print it.

• A beautiful scene with the ‘Here’s to You’ kit; a Paper Pumpkin alternate idea

  April 1, 2021

  ---

The March Paper Pumpkin kit included stencils and a sponge in the kit so I had to play with creating a scene.  It's one of my favorite techniques!

One of the stencils has clouds in it.  I used Pool Party ink and lightly sponged on the upper part of my White CS.

Then I sponged Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral ink about an inch and a half from the bottom edge.  Now I stamped the trees image in the kit with Pretty Peacock ink.  I did not reink the stamp each time so as I stamped repeatedly I achieved the appearance of a distant forest. Love this!!

The birds and greeting images also came in this kit.

  • The So Cool Paper Pumpkin Kit is a little taste of summer fun, with enough supplies to make 12 colorful, shaped cards with coordinating envelopes. Six card bases are popsicle shaped, the other six are semicircles: three watermelons and three rainbows. All of the cards are splashed with cheerful, vivid watercolor images. The kit also includes two full-size, matching sticker sheets, die-cut accents, fun embellishments, and more.
  • Even though the So Cool Kit was designed with kids in mind, these fun-shaped cards, featuring vivid watercolors, are versatile enough to gift to kids of all ages—the young in years and the young at heart. They’re a great way to send some “sunshine in a card!” Who wouldn’t love that?
  • The kit’s exclusive So Cool Stamp Set is versatile, offering sentiments that can be used for multiple occasions such as birthdays, congrats, cheer, and more! It’s a great addition to any crafter’s collection.
