Look at these wonderful Plaid Themed card swaps

I'm excited to share these fabulous swap cards by my Flowerbug's Team today.  Our theme was to use plaid in some way on our cards. 

Jacki made this unique card with the Timeless Plaid DSP.

She cut three pieces of Timeless Plaid DSP using the Stylish Shapes dies. Then cut them into even pieces and added her sentiment between them.  I love the simple addition of the twine on the upper left.  She used the new Secret Sea with Very Vanilla. The greeting is from the With You in Mind stamp set.  

Paula made this gorgeous card also using the Timeless Plaid DSP.

She also used the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder and the Textured Notes dies and the Wishing You bundle. I love her color combo; it really shows off the pretty colors in the DSP.  Look at the ribbon threaded through the die-cut edges!  Her colors include Early Espresso & Pecan Pie. 

Candy made this gorgeous card using the Twisted in Time stamp set.

She also used the Textured Notes dies and the Plaid embossing folder.  Her colors include Lost Lagoon, Basic Beige and Early Espresso.

  • Happy Thoughts Fun Fold cards kit to go; opt in by the 18th!

    Lately I've been offering two different pre-cut card kits each month.  I'm finding so many great products to feature; I cannot help it!  And I like offering a variety of options for my customers.  

    Did you notice the Happy Thoughts stamp set in the new Spring catalog?  It's filled with beautiful greetings; something many of us cannot get enough of.  So I created a group of 8 fun fold cards around this set.  Look!

  • January’s Card Kits to go; 1st is True Love black & white with pops of color!

    I was so happy when I saw the True Love designer paper in the new Spring Catalog.  I absolutely LOVE black & white prints in our papers!  I find it's the most versatile to use since you can add ANY COLOR you want to it and Black and White makes it POP!

    If you like to fussy cut or color you'll fall in love with this pretty paper. 

    Look at these pretty cards! And you can color the floral images with markers OR fussy cut them out to add beautiful detail to the cards.

    I created 5 cards; two of each design for a total of 10 cards. Three of the five designs are unique fun folds too. *see photo below

    You'll receive all pre-cut, punched & die-cut pieces, 1/2 package of True Love Designer paper (6" X 12"), black glittered ribbon, Black matte gems and a share of 2020-22 In Color enamel dots so you can finish these cards at home.

    I chose to use the Vine Design stamp set since it's full of a wide variety of greetings and the lovely vine and floral images too.  You can add on either the stamp set or bundle at an extra 10%!  It fits in the package and costs nothing extra in shipping costs. And if you do you can choose a free Sale-a-Bration choice also.

    I used Black, Real Red and Just Jade inks. Remember you'll stamp your own images.  

    How do my kits to go work?  

    • Once you pay you'll be on the list to receive the kit. They are shipped out at the end of the month.  
    • Then you'll receive the PDF instructions in an email; immediately upon payment. It includes photos, measurements (to make more!), a supplies list and step by step directions. 
    • You'll use my measurements to cut your new designer paper for each card. Don't worry; I keep the measurements easy! 
    • You'll use the instructions and the supplies in your kit to complete the cards.

    Details:

    • I also used a new and FREE Designer Paper called Paper Blooms here.  The colors are Seaside Spray with Navy & White.  I use this pretty color combo often. 
    • Can you tell it's a fun fold?  The Seaside Spray is 3" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".  I added texture with the Meadow Moments embossing folder.  The Navy layer is a quarter sheet 5 1/2" X 4 1/4". 
    • I punched a white Small Bloom punch and added a pearl to the center.  It's sponged for a bit of color.  
    • The main image is stamped and punched out with the Rectangular Postage Punch.
