Leaves of Holly card with a gift card option & video

We made this pretty Christmas card at my November Card Clubs.  It features the Leaves of Holly bundle seen here.

I chose these colors – Evening Evergreen, Real Red, White & Soft Succulent.  I sure love the dies in this set; the greeting label with the attached holly leaves is special.

*Unfortunately the Holly Berry dies are unavailable right now; they expect they'll be back in stock around December 19th.

I think this is a classic Christmas bundle you'd find yourself using often.  It's retiring on December 1st and while supplies last.

I gave my gals a choice of 'berry' options.  On the left card below we added two die-cuts from the bundle.  On the right card we added a Textural Element that is colored with Blends markers.  It was almost a tie on which option they chose.

I stamped the two more open leave images 2-3 times each in the two green colors and added the greeting element over them.  You can see how in the video below.  It's actually an easy card to make.

If you want to add an easy gift card option to any card simply add a strip of DSP across the bottom of the inside. Punch the center with any circle or decorative punch and aAttach it with glue on the outer and lower edges only.

Click here to watch it or on the photo below.  There's a special wiper fun fold card shown too!

  • Beautiful Balloons card swaps

This week I've been sharing card swaps made by my Flowerbug's Team.  Our swap theme for May was to use new products from the 2023-24 Annual Catalog.

This colorful, birthday card was made by Sharon. It's full of texture, patterns and is also a simple fun fold.

She trimmed off an inch from the right side of her card front to reveal the neat fringe die-cut on the inside of the card.  The pattern paper is from the Bright & Beautiful 6 X 6" paper seen here.

    More details:

    • Colors include Boho Blue, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist & Blueberry Bushel.
    • The balloons & greeting are die-cuts from the Beautiful Balloons bundle
    • The texture on the card front is made with the Basics 3D 3 pack of embossing folders seen here. They're part of our Online Exclusives.

Both of the cards today are made with the Beautiful Balloons bundle seen here.  It's a fabulous set of balloon themed stamps & dies.

Next is another simple fun fold made by Lori.  Her colors are Lemon Lime Twist, Misty Moonlight, Blueberry Bushel & a bit of Berry Burst.

    Measurements:

    • Lemon Lime Twist card base 4 1/4" X 5 1/2"
    • Misty Moonlight 3 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"
    • Bright & Beautiful DSP 3" X 5 1/4"
    • White greeting 2 3/4" X 3/4"

Thanks for stopping in to see our projects today!

Deloris made this beautiful card for our May Team swap.  It sure reminds me of springtime!

She featured the new Seasonal Branches bundle seen here on her card.

She added lots of detail with the flowers, leaves and that beautiful colored bird!  Can you see the detailed texture on those flowers & leaves?

Her colors include Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, White and a little pop of blue on her bird.

  • Look at this incredible Lazy Days card swap!

I was blown away by the card swap Paula made for our Flowerbug's Team swap in May.  Check it out…..

See what I mean?  The scene she created is so real & life-like!  This card features the new Lazy Days bundle seen here.  And she used many of the stamps & dies in the bundle.  I counted them – 9 stamps or dies!

Here's a photo of the bundle she used: Lazy Days seen here.

I think her soft colors set the tone for a real porch scene. That rug, lattice, fence and sponged sun – well just everything works! I'm so very proud of her talent.  AMAZING!

Her background is white but she lightly blended blue ink for the sky and likely crumb cake for the porch.

What do you think?  I think it's incredible well done.
