Below is the last set of cards in my Christmas cards class series this fall.  I sure do enjoy creating them with our beautiful Stampin' Up! products!

SAS #3 cards Save

There's a nice variety – from cute to beautiful; they satisfy all of your holiday card needs.  

The local class is on Saturday, November 19th at 10 am.  Cost is $25 and you'll make 3 of each card with stamped, coordinating envelopes too.  RSVP to attend by Thursday, November 16th please.  

The pre-cut kit to go includes 12 cards, all cut, die-cut & punched pieces.  It includes ribbons but not gems, texturing or stamped images. The cost is $25 plus shipping. 

For these cards I used these stamp sets: Trees for Sale, Cottage Wreaths, Christmas Lights, Handmade Wishes and Joyful Flurry; all from the 2022 Holiday catalog plus a few greeting images.  You can substitute other sets for these if you'd like to.  Inks: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Versamark, Red, Garden Green, Pool Party & Poppy Parade

    Details:

    • I also used a new and FREE Designer Paper called Paper Blooms here.  The colors are Seaside Spray with Navy & White.  I use this pretty color combo often. 
    • Can you tell it's a fun fold?  The Seaside Spray is 3" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".  I added texture with the Meadow Moments embossing folder.  The Navy layer is a quarter sheet 5 1/2" X 4 1/4". 
    • I punched a white Small Bloom punch and added a pearl to the center.  It's sponged for a bit of color.  
    • The main image is stamped and punched out with the Rectangular Postage Punch.

  • Corner Bouquet Triple Panel card & a tour of my studio & new catalog launch video

    Tuesday I held my new 2021 New Catalog Launch party and shared a virtual tour of my studio and Sale-a-Bration & Spring project displays.  I did have a little issue with a catch in my throat at the end but most of it's good.  Ha! 

    Below is a fun card showing you a way to use a large stamped image.  You can do it two different ways:

    Stamp first and then cut into three strips.  Or cut into strips, arrange together and stamp all at once.  This is what I did using my Stamparatus so I could re-stamp a few times for a nice dark image.  I've sure been using my Stamparatus a lot lately.  Do you have one?  It's so helpful!

    After I stamped the main image I let it dry a bit and then ran all three strips through the die-cutting machine to add texture.  I used a brand new 3D embossing folder called Painted Texture. 

    These colors are Purple Posy, Night of Navy & Coastal Cabana.  I was inspired to combine these colors by one of our designer paper packs in the Annual Catalog called Playing with Patterns. 

    The greeting is from the Enjoy the Moment stamp set in the new 2021 Spring Catalog.

  • True Love Designer Paper; GORGEOUS!

    The True Love Designer paper is my very favorite designer paper in the 2021 Spring Catalog; it has gorgeous Black & White patterns.  I have always found Black & White  paper to be the easiest to work with since I can add almost any color I want to set it off.  Bright or soft colors all work wonderfully! 

    I made this card for another online swap a few weeks ago.  I just love the easy layout and how it makes the best use of both the Designer paper AND your card stock.

    Products used:

    Black, White & Magenta Madness CS, True Love DSP, Black ink, Black glittered ribbon, Sweet Ice Cream stamp set , Treasured Tags pick a punch for White CS strip, Matte Black dots

    Paper saving tip: 

    With this layout you can get sixteen 3" square pieces from a 12" sheet of DSP; or 4 pieces from a 6 X 6" piece. 

    You can get 5 pieces of the main colored layer from a sheet of 8 1/2" X 11" card stock.  The cutting template for this is below; I love to use it for my inside layer especially.
