Kintsugi Inspirations fun fold card kit to go or tutorial. Reserve yours now!

I'm thrilled with the cards in the Kintsugi Inspiration kit this month!  I am featuring this unique, gold foil accented designer paper for one of my kits to go in July. (I add 2 new kits to my shop each month!)

 The gorgeous designer paper is definitely the star of these stunning cards. Each of the 10 cards are unique fun fold designs and the video will help you assemble each one.

The directions for the cards are included in the PDF tutorial plus there's a private video you'll get access to when you purchase either the kit or the PDF tutorial.  

This kit to go includes the following products:

  • 1/2 pkg Kintsugi Inspirations specialty DSP (6" X 12")
  • a share of Misty Moonlight 1/4" ribbon
  • a share of gold Flower Accent gems
  • pre-cut or die-cut pieces for each of 10 cards
  • the PDF tutorial & video link 

The kit to go is $31 and can be reserved here.  It is shipped out at the end of July. The PDF tutorial is $16 and can be seen here.  The tutorial is emailed to you immediately after purchase. 

*You will need stamp greetings, a paper trimmer (to cut your new designer paper), adhesives and inks to finish the cards.

  • A CUTE Kite Delight card idea; shared in a video with blending & coloring tips

    Here is another playful card made with the Kite Delight stamp set in the 2022 January-June Stampin' Up! catalog.

    I used a Blending Brush and Coastal Cabana ink to create a soft sky background.  Then the kite tails were stamped using Black Memento ink and colored in with Blends markers.  Each kit was stamped using the coordinating color of card stock – Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana.  They are fussy cut since there is not a set of dies to match.  I don't mind this at all since they're easy to cut out. 

    This stamp set is NOT carrying over into the new catalog and will retire at the end of May. See it here:

    I used the Pick a Banner punch on the Highland Heather greeting banner.  The banner & kits are all popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • TWO Cactus Cutes fun fold cards with video & measurements!

    Here are two more Cactus Cuties cards from last Tuesday's FB Live.  Follow me here on Facebook to see each video and more! 

    This first card features three of the new In Colors from the brand new Annual Catalog.  They're Sweet Sorbet (red), Parakeet Party (green) and Tahitian Tide (turquoise).  Aren't they vibrant and eye catching!

    I call this card a Dutch Door card fold.  It's pretty easy to do and makes great use of your card stock too.  Watch how with my quick tip in the video here.

    This next card is one we made at my April card clubs here in Minot.  It's called a Split Panel card.  The designer paper is from the recently retired Pattern Party host DSP.  We have a new host DSP called Design a Daydream that is just as great in the annual catalog.  I love these free paper options for hosts!!

    My colors include Granny Apply Green, Bermuda Bay and Mango Melody.  A little bit of Coastal Cabana too.  We used the Cactus Builder punch for the pot, cactus and flowers.  You can see the measurements below.

  • New In Colors paired with the Kite Delight stamp set

    I shared this colorful kite card on a recent FB live video here.  I wanted to use the Kite Delight stamp set and the newest In Colors coming out on May 3rd. 

    The kite and sun are fussy cut and the kite is colored in with new In Color Blends markers.

    I've been sharing the new In Colors with my Club gals this month and everyone LOVES them!  They are so bright, happy & will be perfect additions to our color line.

    I heat embossed the clouds with White embossing powder.  But the image is an outline image and I wanted my clouds to be 'white'. So I used the Chalk Marker to color it in.  Unfortunately it was on the retired list and is unavailable now. But two other ideas are to use a White watercolor pencil or a blender pen and White craft ink.
