We're making this neat Tuck & Fold 'Peek-a-Boo' card tonight on my Facebook Page here. It starts at 7:30 pm CT Monday evening.

I encourage my followers to prep their pieces ahead of time and create along with me on the Live video.

You'll need the following pieces & tools:

Designer paper 6 X 6". Score it at 1 1/2" on all 4 sides. Cut off all 4 corners.
Card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
Front & inside layers 4" X 5 1/4"
Greeting for front
White layer inside the DSP fold – 2 3/4" square
Embellishments, adhesive, stamps & ink as desired

I'm using a brand new designer paper from the upcoming Holiday catalog. It's called Garden Walk. It comes in 6 X 6" size – 48 sheets – 6 each of 6 designs.

Here's the inside view: I saved 3 of the 4 cut off corners to create a unique way to add my greeting.

My card base is Calypso Coral as well as the ink. The stamps are both from a new set called So Sincere. It's one of my very favorites in the Holiday catalog!

Pretty is the word for the Hand Penned suite!

This is one of the first cards I made with the Hand-Penned suite. I chose to use the Soft Succulent card base with Fresh Freesia and So Saffron accents.

That pretty paper is called Hand-Penned Designer Paper seen here on page 131 of the new Annual catalog. It features so many soft, beautiful colors. People are loving it so much I will likely feature it for a kit to go in June.

I used the Painted Labels dies for the neat circle die-cut and the Fresh Freesia scalloped trim is from the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle. Click here to see the bundle.

Sweet Ice Cream Fun Fold card with video tutorial

We made this special fun fold card at last month's Card Clubs. See how it latches on the punched ice cream piece?

I used the Sweet Ice Cream bundle and the Ice Cream Corner Designer Paper seen here. This DSP is retiring in June; if you like it get it now while you can. The cones on this card are punched from the designer paper itself. No need to stamp them when the paper is perfect! The card stock is Cinnamon Cider with Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive.

You can mix & match the designer papers for a nice variety of cards. I used Blackberry Bliss, Pear Pizzazz and Cinnamon Cider ink, stamping off first for the solid ice cream images.

The Sweet Ice Cream bundle is available now in the Spring catalog. This set & punch are carrying over into the current Annual catalog but they are no longer a bundle at 10% off. Save $$ and get them now at a discount.
