Join me for a Free Fun Fold card class – Live tonight!

We're making this neat Tuck & Fold 'Peek-a-Boo' card tonight on my Facebook Page here.  It starts at 7:30 pm CT Monday evening.

I encourage my followers to prep their pieces ahead of time and create along with me on the Live video. 

You'll need the following pieces & tools:

  • Designer paper 6 X 6". Score it at 1 1/2" on all 4 sides.  Cut off all 4 corners. 
  • Card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
  • Front & inside layers 4" X 5 1/4"
  • Greeting for front
  • White layer inside the DSP fold – 2 3/4" square 
  • Embellishments, adhesive, stamps & ink as desired

I'm using a brand new designer paper from the upcoming Holiday catalog.  It's called Garden Walk. It comes in 6 X 6" size – 48 sheets – 6 each of 6 designs.  

**I'll be offering a designer paper share later this week; it includes eighty 6 X 6" pieces of our newest, beautiful designer papers – all for $37 including shipping!  Let me know if you want in on this; I'm taking names now and can invoice you after Wednesday.  

Here's the inside view:  I saved 3 of the 4 cut off corners to create a unique way to add my greeting.

My card base is Calypso Coral as well as the ink. The stamps are both from a new set called So Sincere.  It's one of my very favorites in the Holiday catalog!

    I was so excited when I saw the Frames & Flowers designer paper in the new catalog. It has multiple sheets of pre-cut elements that coordinate with the paper.  This makes it so easy to create with as you don't have to stamp or die-cut additional pieces. 

    Here are the pretty cards included in the pre-cut kit for June:

    I design my kits around the paper so all you need to add are stamped greetings. I chose to use the new Simply Said set this time; which you can add on at a discount. I cut everything for you but the designer paper.  The PDF tutorial includes measurements so you can easily accomplish that. 

    Opt in for the card kit to go by June 18th; supplies may be limited. The PDF tutorial will be emailed to you immediately after payment; check your spam folder. The pre-cut kit is mailed at the end of June.

  • Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

    Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

    SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

    This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

    The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

    Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.

  • Spotlight on Nature unique Z-fold card with video & free project sheet

    I shared this unique & easy fun fold card on last week's Live video.

    It doesn't look like a fun fold card does it?  I featured it at my May Card Clubs.  I love the way the detailed die is popped up on Dimensionals which shows off the die-cut pattern. There's a simply trick to stamp over the die-cut after you cut out the die shape; watch the video to learn how. 

    It features three new In Colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle. The colors include Pretty in Pink, Shy Shamrock & Peach Pie. I colored in the butterfly & flowers with Pretty in Pink & Peach Pie blends.  Want to know how to do this?  Watch the video here or below. I love combining two colors like this!
