In the Country with a split scene technique

They've updated the Clearance Rack with more products!  Including stamp sets!  But beware that many are in French.  Be sure you get English if you want it. See it all here.

I made this pretty card using the In the Country stamp set from our Sale-a-Bration promotion.  It's called a Triptych layout. It's a great way to showcase a detailed stamp set.

I stamped the image in Black Memento ink using the Stamparatus and colored the image in with our Watercolor Pencils.

One thing I always use with our Watercolor Pencils is the Blender pen.  It smooths out all of your penciled lines so easily. See it here.

The card base is Coastal Cabana and I added a Black layer and a simple Black strip across and under it. Simple but it sure shows off the pretty scene.

You can see the In the Country stamp set here; it's free with any $50 purchase.

  • A fun layout for the Full of Life designer paper – video & free project sheet too!

    Before I share today's project I have to shout out that the new Holiday catalog starts today! Plus my Open House & BOGO event is today from 4:30 – 6 pm.

    ~~~
    I LOVE the Full of Life designer series paper!  This card shows just how fabulous it is!
    The clouds and sun die-cuts make this card extra special. They're from the Brightest Skies dies seen here.  The greeting is from the My Small Business stamp set seen here.
    It was one of my August Card Club projects and everyone loved it. I coordinated the designer paper to match the card bases; here's another example below:
    The greeting for this one is from the Trusty Tools stamp set.
  • Unique fun fold card with the new Regal Winter suite – free project sheet & video too
    I shared the neatest fun fold card on last week's video.  It features the upcoming new suite called Regal Winter from the Holiday Catalog.  This catalog goes live on Wednesday, September 4th.
    My colors were inspired by the beautiful Regal Winter designer series paper. Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss & White.
    It looks like a normal card front doesn't it?  It's not!  The right side has a fold to it and the edge is tucked under the diagonal layer.
    Isn't that neat?  And it's super easy to make too, but to understand it you may have to watch the video below. Or click here to see it.
    Here's the view of the inside once opened.  That center Blackberry Layer is attached to only the left side. The DSP strip is centered on it and helps you center the whole piece between the two outer flaps.  It's easy; watch the video!
    **I'll be sharing two more pretty cards featuring this new suite on Tuesday's FB Live video (Sept 3rd). If you're on Facebook I hope you're following me.  If not find me here.
