On last week's video I shared how to make a fun cow card and a pig too. Today I'll share the sheep version!

I decided to use a Pool Party card base to coordinate with the Sunny Days designer paper. The Deckled circle dies are an easy way to create a cute card.  The greeting is from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set seen here.  Both the DSP & stamps are still available for FREE with any $50 purchase in our Sale-a-Bration promotion.  I'm so sad this promotion ends today!

I wanted to use puff paint for the fuzzy sheep body & the top of her head but it's not currently part of our products so I used the punch and punched a bunch of white pieces to add for her fur. In hindsight I should have used a cotton ball – pulling it apart and adding thin bits of it with glue.  That would have been much easier!

    I love the fact that you don't need much to finish these cards; they're quick yet gorgeous! I used the Inspiring Iris stamp set and a simple layout on each.  I wanted the pretty details of the laser cut cards to show through.

  • Three fast & easy Free as a Bird cards

    We made these three cards on Zoom and Facebook Live last night.  Each Thursday evening at 8 pm CT I hold a Stamp with Me session.  In 30 minutes we've all made 3 pretty cards together! 

    April 25th cards Save

    I post the measurements ahead of time so they can prep and be ready.  They can substitute any of the card stock, stamps etc to create their version of my card designs.  It's so fun to see what everyone makes!

    Supplies:
    Free as a Bird stamp set
    Black, Daffodil & Pool Party inks
    Blends markers – Pool Party, Light Old Olive, Light Calypso Coral, Sponges, pearls

    Measurements:
    Pool Party card – 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score at 1 1/2" & 4 1/4"
    DSP – left is 2 1/2" X 5 1/4", inside right is 1 1/2" X 5 1/4", White is 2 3/8" X 5 1/4"
    Black is 2 5/8" square. The White is 2 1/2" square
    *I used the Small Bloom punch for the stamped flowers
