3 unique Honeybee Home card ideas

This week I'm featuring cards made by my talented Flowerbug's Team. Today both cards showcase the Honeybee Home bundle seen here.

This first card was made by Candace.  She is a master at coloring & sponging as you can see.

She stamped & die-cut the floral image multiple times for a pretty bouquet and adhered them to her beautiful sponged background.  The gorgeous sky background is done with Pacific Point ink and a very light hand at sponging. She colored the flowers with watercolor pencils.

Next is a totally different card made by Annette for our Monochromatic swap this month.

She stamped the bee and greeting in Crumb Cake ink onto a Stitched Rectangle die-cut.  Then added a few die-cuts from the Honeybee Blooms dies and layered it on a Crumb Cake layer. Simply beautiful!

Mary made this next card with this same bundle along with the Heart & Home designer paper.

She used 3 layers of this pretty paper as a background for her dies & greeting.  Great idea!

Her colors are Pale Papaya & Garden Green. The White greeting tag is one of my favorite 'go to' punches called the Tailored Tag punch.

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

    Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!

  • Pretty Pumpkins with Be Dazzling specialty paper

    After seeing other projects with the Pretty Pumpkin bundle I had to get it.  I love the images and the font in the greetings.

    I stamped the large pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored them and the leaves with Blends markers using both Pumpkin Pie & Olive markers plus light Crumb Cake for the stem & light Cajun Craze for the darkest areas on the pumpkins.

    I was playing around with the Be Dazzling specialty paper and decided to try to color it.  I had a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol & either Pumpkin Pie or Cajun Craze ink refill.  So I spritzed it on to a piece of the glittery paper.  It worked beautifully!  I did have to let it sit for a few minutes to set well.  Then I rubbed it with tissue to get any excess off before I die-cut the pretty filigree pumpkin with it.  

    I also spritzed my White twine to color it as well.
