Heartfelt Hellos; a quick card featuring 4 Sale-a-Bration choices!

Here's another card swap I made recently. This one features 4 different Sale-a-Bration choices.

Here are the 4 products I featured on this card; all from the Sale-a-Bration catalog that goes Live Thursday, January 4th.

1st – the beautiful Flight & Airy designer paper. Gorgeous 12 X 12" designer paper featuring birds & florals. *free with a $50 Stampin' Up! order
2nd – the new Heartfelt Hellos stamp set; it's a $50 choice in our Sale-a-Bration catalog. It has 6 pretty greetings that all work with the new Heartfelt Hexagon punch (2024 Spring catalog)
3rd – The Softly Sophisticated embossing folder – seen on the Calypso Coral banner. It's paired with the Softly Sophisticated stamp set and free with a $100 order.
4th – the gems are called Opaque Faceted Gems and are free with a $50 order.

My colors include Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral, White & Misty Moonlight – all featured in the Flight & Airy designer paper.

The circle is 2 3/8" and works nicely with the new Heartfelt Hexagon punch.

It's a beautifully simple layout that would be perfect to mass produce using your favorite designer paper. You could add extra layers if you prefer that; but sometimes it's good to let the pretty paper or greeting be the star.

Measurements:

Card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score/fold at 4 1/4"
Designer paper 3" X 4" (you can get 12 from one sheet of 12" designer series paper!)
Banner is 5 1/4" X 1 1/4"

Springtime Scenes card with video & free project sheet

I shared this card last week with a video and a free project sheet. Think of using any designer paper you own. It’s a great layout!

I chose the Easter Joy Specialty paper inspired me with the color theme. Shy Shamrock with Balmy Blue & White. Unusual but it sure works!

It’s a simple ‘fold back’ fun fold where you add one extra score line at 2 3/4″ to this 11″ X 4 1/4″ card base. Of course it’s scored in half at 5 1/2″ as well. I cut the Balmy Blue layer to perfectly layer onto the inside White. It gives the illusion of multiple layers.

That pretty die-cut leaf is from the Pleasant Patterns specialty paper seen here. For my stamps & the leaf die I used the Springtime Scenes bundle seen here. I love this set with the neat dies and stamps.

Get inspired by a sketch with this sweet Splash of Sparkles card

Each month I give my Flowerbug’s a creative challenge and they can participate if they’d like. This month it was a sketch:

You can find card sketches like this all over Pinterest or other online sites. I think they’re a wonderful and easy way to create a card. Remember that sketches are a starting point; they don’t have to be exact or even that similar. They’re a great way to be inspired.

My colors include Bubble Bath, Timid Tiger, Gold & White; all inspired by the beautiful designer paper. Who would have thought to combine these colors together? But the DSP is the magic that makes it work.

I used a few different products here:
- The greeting and die-cut are from the Lovely Arrangements bundle.
- notice the new daisy embossing folder? That is the new Lazy Daisy 3D embossing folder found here. It is currently out of stock, but add your email on the product page to be informed when it’s back.
- And that pretty Bubble Bath 1/8″ ribbon is wonderful and easy to work with. See it here.
