Heart Shaped Triple Panel Gate-Fold card with video tutorial & free project sheet

I enjoyed casing my friend Susie Wood when I made this pretty card:

It features two Sale-a-Bration products:  The Bloom Impressions designer series paper and the Heart Shaped bundle. Both are free with purchase through February 28th.

My card bases are Petunia Pop and the card stock panels are Blackberry Bliss.  I love how the stamp under the die adds the pretty detail to the image.  

As you can see below it's a gatefold card with the three panels added to the left side.  See the free project sheet with measurements below:

  • My Sale-a-Bration & New Catalog open house displays

    I don't think I shared my displays & boards from my January New Catalog Open House yet!  

    Some are my own cards but many of these projects are swaps I received.  

    First is my 2022 Sale-a-Bration display table.

  • The easy way to do the Whitewashing Technique; with video

    I've been playing with the Whitewashing Technique lately. Today I'm sharing a card I made on Facebook Live with the Honeybee Home bundle.

    Please watch the video to see how to do this.  Here are some tips:

    • I stamped the main image using Gorgeous Grape ink onto the same color card stock.
    • Let it dry a bit and color the image in with White Craft ink and a water painter brush.
    • If you want to see the stamped image you'll want to use a light amount of White Craft ink. 
    • I add water to some White Craft ink in a puddle and use that to 'paint'.  
    • You can paint with strokes to indicate lines on your image.

    I used the Heart & Home doilies under the Tasteful Label die-cut.  

    The background paper is the Simply Marbelous Sale-a-Bration DSP that I added a bit of Highland Heather ink to.
