Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you can enjoy a very Happy Thanksgiving today!  I know many of us cannot be with the family or friends like we're used to.  It's so difficult with this pandemic; tough times and even tougher decisions! 

I received this cute card from my friend Pat this week.  I wanted to share it with you with my seasonal wishes for you and your family.

She used my Million Dollar stamp set; Life is Beautiful seen here.  You might think this is for Halloween; but she has a two black cats and I have one so this fit us both! 

If you aren't on Facebook you might not know about my stamp set challenge.  I found out how many of these stamp sets have been sold so far worldwide and had my FB Live followers guess.  What's your guess??

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

    Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!

  • Pretty Pumpkins with Be Dazzling specialty paper

    After seeing other projects with the Pretty Pumpkin bundle I had to get it.  I love the images and the font in the greetings.

    I stamped the large pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored them and the leaves with Blends markers using both Pumpkin Pie & Olive markers plus light Crumb Cake for the stem & light Cajun Craze for the darkest areas on the pumpkins.

    I was playing around with the Be Dazzling specialty paper and decided to try to color it.  I had a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol & either Pumpkin Pie or Cajun Craze ink refill.  So I spritzed it on to a piece of the glittery paper.  It worked beautifully!  I did have to let it sit for a few minutes to set well.  Then I rubbed it with tissue to get any excess off before I die-cut the pretty filigree pumpkin with it.  

    I also spritzed my White twine to color it as well.
