Hand-Penned Cards Kit to go!

I had a few requests to feature the pretty Hand-Penned designer paper for a kit to go.  So I had a play with it and came up with these cards: 

Hand-Penned all. Save

This kit to go includes a 10 cards pre-cut kit with 2 each of 5 designs including many fun-fold cards.  *Opt in by June 18th to get it! 

You'll receive the following in this kit:

  • the 10 pre-cut cards including all pre-cut, punched & die-cut pieces needed to complete the cards.
  • 1/2 pkg of the Hand Penned designer paper (6" X 12") 
  • new Genial Gems
  • Pool Party sheer ribbon
  • the PDF Tutorial with photos, measurements, supplies used and step-by-step directions sent via email.

The inks I used are Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Highland Heather and Pool Party but you can easily substitute others you own.

  • Under My Umbrella Bridge fold card with video

    This card was a big hit at my Card Clubs in February.  It's a bridge fold card featuring the Under My Umbrella bundle.  See it here.

    To create this card you'll cut your base card short and add another short piece at the bottom. The Daffodil and Balmy Blue layers 'bridge' the base layers.  Really cool.  And I was able to die-cut the Balmy Blue scalloped rectangle from the leftover piece from the middle.  I love using my card stock so perfectly.  *See measurements below.

    The Under My Umbrella stamps and punch bundle is just $30.50 for both! It has so MANY cute images and wonderful greetings.  I just love it! We stamped the images in Basic Gray ink and colored them in with Blends markers

  • Thoughtful Blooms with the Small Bloom punch

    Here are a few more swap cards made by my Flowerbug's Team this month. I just love seeing what my gals create for our swaps!

    Feb Jacki Thoughtful Blooms Save

    Jacki made this beautiful card.  I love the many layers and details here. And the colors are fresh and unique – Soft Suede, Mint Macaron, Bermuda Bay and White.  She used the new Label Me Fancy punch, the Starburst punch, Leaf punch and the Painted Label dies for the swirl.  The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments set. That gorgeous texture is from the Parisian Flourish embossing folder seen here.

    Feb Jacki Thoughtful Blooms Save

    Her colors are Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green.  Isn't this layout fun?!  the technique is called Triple Stamping.  You place your White layers in position as shown without the Grape layers in between and stamp on the three pieces all at once.  Then add the Grape layers and adhere to your main card.  Super easy and fun too. 

    She added a pretty greeting in Purple Posy with the Stitched So Sweetly dies (my favorite!) and the punched flowers from the Small Bloom punch. 

    Measurements:

    • Grape – 5 1/2" X 8 1/2", 4 1/4" X 3 1/4" and 3 1/4" X 2 1/4"
    • White – 4" X 5 1/4", 4" X 3" and 3" X 2"

  • Lovely Lily Pad with Lily Pad dies to match!

    Waterlilies are so trendy now and these reversible Lovely Lily Pad stamps in the 2020 Sale-a-Bration catalog are beautiful!

    I'm sharing more of my Team swaps from our meeting earlier this month.  Many of my team choose to join in our monthly swaps.  Our swaps are optional and work like this: design one card and make one for everyone in the swap. If there are 12 people in the swap you make 12 of the same cards.  Then send or bring them to me and I sort them out and return them to everyone participating.  It's so fun to get all different cards back when you only had to create one!

    First is Mary's pretty card:

    She used the Stitched Rectangle dies on three of her layers here!  Her colors are Bermuda Bay, Grapefruit Grove and Old Olive.  A little bit of Rococo Rose and Coastal Cabana too.  The Lily Impressions designer paper has tons of pretty colors in it.  

    Roxann made this next card. She also used a Bermuda Bay card base but focused on Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green as her colors.

    It truly looks like water is reflecting the flowers on this pretty Lily Impressions designer paper.  This paper is a free choice with any $50 order right now. See them here.

    Bobby created this pretty card below.   It also reminds me of a water garden with lilies in it.

    Her colors are Pretty Peacock, Pool Party and Grapefruit Grove.  Isn't that border die beautiful?  I also like that peek of a vellum lily behind the largest lily.  I have a bunch of talented ladies on my Team!
