Easy idea with your leftover paper strips with Artfully Layered

I had a bunch of leftover Just Jade card stock strips I was determined to use. I believe it was from a fun fold card I offered in one of my kits to go. Luckily inspiration struck and I created this neat card for an online swap I participated in.  I love it!

I used the new bundle called Artfully Layered stamping the largest leaf multiple times in Just Jade ink.  The botanical images, dies and super fun greetings in this bundle were one of my top picks from the new 2022 Jan-June Stampin' Up! catalog.  You can see this bundle here.

Each of the strips are 1" X 3 1/4" and they are adhered to a White piece measuring 3 3/4" X 5".  I adhered them so they did not match up purposefully.  You could also stamp them as shown and place them onto the card in order.

Simply add a greeting and a punch or die-cut.  I LOVE when I can use leftovers to create wonderful cards easily.

The greeting die-cut is from the Beautiful Shapes dies seen here.  They include circles, hexagons, a few odd shapes & triangles.  They're fun, modern & unique!

  • Summer Shadow dies & Shaded Summer; a beautiful pairing!

    I'm sharing our Flowerbug Team swaps featuring Sale-a-Bration choices. This amazing card was  created by Paula. 

    She used the Summer Shadow dies seen here along with the Shaded Summer stamp set. This stamp set is in the Annual Catalog on page 75 and the dies are a free choice during SAB/Sale-a-Bration. However remember that these dies are expected to sell out before the end of September when SAB ends.  See them here.

    This is also a fun fold card.  Her Black card is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and is scored at 2 1/8" X 4 1/4".  The front left panel is folded back.

    Look at the many layers of die-cuts she added here!  Lots of Vellum along with Polished Pink ink and Just Jade & Soft Succulent card stock & inks. Placing the die-cuts on Black really brings out the color & details.

  • Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

    Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

    Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!
