Gorgeous Rocker cards with a video tutorial & free project sheet!

Here's another special card I shared on last week's Live video. It's called a 'rocker card'. 

Softly Stippled rocker card Save

The pretty roses are from the Softly Stippled designer series paper – seen here in our Sale-a-Bration catalog. I fussy cut the roses on the upper circles and colored them with Pool Party ink and a Wink of Stella. I love coloring with my Wink of Stella as it adds a beautiful shimmer. Watch the video below to see how. 

It's made with our Deckled Circle dies seen here. There are a ton of them in the set – 14 sizes! They carried over from our Holiday catalog and can be seen online.

For the card base I used the second from the largest die; it's almost 5 1/2" wide. Once you cut it, score it in half at 2 3/4". 

Of course you'll use the next size down for the front half layer and the inside.

The second sample was made with Calypso Coral & Pebbled Path. It seems like Pebbled Path is a perfectly beautiful color to pair most of our soft colors with.

  • Feels Like Frost Fun Fold card

    Check out this beautiful fun fold card made by Annette for our Team swap in September!  Our theme was fun fold cards featuring products in the 2020 Holiday catalog.

    She featured the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Life is Beautiful stamp set.  This design is perfect for designer paper with a scene or large pattern.

    I like the tag with the pretty Metallic Mesh ribbon.  That ribbon is so soft and it's in 1 1/2" wide but can easily be cut in sections without fraying!

    Measurements:

    • Navy card – 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 1 1/2" & 4 1/4", tag is 1 1/4" X 3 3/4" 
    • Designer paper from left to right – 5 1/4" X 2 3/4", 5 1/4" X 1 1/8" and lastly on the right is 5 1/4" X 2"
    • Whisper White 5 1/5" X 1 3/4", tag is 1" X 3"

  • Christmas Cards kit to go; all Fun-fold cards! Opt in by the 20th!

    Yesterday I shared the Plaid Tidings cards kit and today I'm sharing my 2nd cards kit to go (I cannot seem to do just one; there's too many fabulous products!).

    I chose to feature the Heartwarming Hugs designer series paper seen below.  It includes a variety of tiny patterns of plaid, stripes, dots, and more in traditional Red's and Green's. I especially like the gingham and stripes.  Oh and the polka dots too!
