Gorgeous cards in the Enjoy the Moment card kit or tutorial

I knew I wanted to feature this pretty designer paper called Enjoy the Journey for a card kit to go but I wasn't sure quite how or where to start!

ENJOY THE JOURNEY 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

But once I decided to go with scenic and silhouette cards they came together wonderfully!  *this dsp is also available free with a $50 Stampin' Up! order through February.

Enjoy the Journey all Save

I am thrilled with these cards; they're gorgeous!  I included quite a few fancy folds too.

The kit to go  includes 1/2 pkg. (6" X 12") of the Enjoy the Journey DSP, a share of both 3 twine combo and black matte dots, 10 envelopes, the pre-cut cards including die-cut & punched pieces and you'll receive the PDF tutorial free.

I also have the PDF tutorial only available if you do not want the pre-cut kit.  However the kit is the best deal; you receive $20 in product (before tax & shipping) plus the 10 pre-cut cards for just $28!

Opt in here for the card kit by February 19 to get it.  Or choose the PDF tutorial here instead.  This kit is mailed out at the end of February via Priority Mail.  The PDF tutorial will be send to you via email immediately after payment.

Add on the Happy Labels stamp set or bundle at an extra 10% off!  And if the total ($20 for the kit, $24 for the stamp set + more added) adds up to $50 or more you can choose a free Sale-a-Bration choice too.  Contact me here for this option.

*You will need the following to complete your cards:

  • Black ink and greeting images (I used Happy Labels)
  • a paper trimmer to cut your new DSP, adhesives, optional embossing folder

Add on any other kit in my shop and save on shipping.  I have a second beautiful, new kit available here with the Texture Chic cards & envelopes.  See all of my kits here.

I have never had a demonstrator join my team and regret it.  They all love it as long as they stay active.  Some people stay a while and others do not.  I hope you stay awhile but if you don't, that's fine too.  There is no pressure to continue once you decide to leave.  You simply stop placing orders.

I have many people take advantage of this deal just to stock up on essentials or to get items on their long wishlist. Then when they're stocked up, they stop ordering. It's just that simple! No pressure to sell or hold events. Just enjoy the 20% discount while you can. Email me with any questions you have.

  • Ombre Blending with Decorative Masks; an easy technique!

If you struggle to get a smooth blend I have a few suggestions for you.  We made this striking card at a class this weekend.  Everyone loved it and they all turned out fabulous!

    Stencil masking technique Save

    Details:

    • The colors here are Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler; with a bit of gold glitz thrown in.
    • The leaves are die-cut from the Intricate Leaves dies seen here.
    • The greeting is from the Thinking, Thanks & Peace stamp set in the Holiday catalog. I love this greeting!  See it here.

Here are some tips & suggestions for perfect Ombre' blending:

    • Use out Blending Brushes; they really do make a smooth blend easier.
    • Choose colors that are similar in hue. For instance blues and greens, or yellows to reds.
    • Blend over a Decorative Mask – see them all here.  The patterned stencils/masks seem to break up any inconsistencies in your blending.
    • Here I added color onto Crumb Cake card stock; that also helps and would be a a good color to practice on.
    • I start out with the lightest color and work my way downward; in this case at an angle.
    • I leave a tiny space between colors and make sure to blend/connect them by going into the previous color just a bit before moving.
