Gears & Textures bundle; another wow with Candace’s fun fold card

Today I’m sharing a neat card made by Candace; my talented team member. She used the Gears & Textures bundle to make this:

You can see the Gears & Textures bundle here. It’s so special & unique and perfect for masculine cards. But as you can see in Candace’s card it’s great for gals too!

She made her own paper with the stamps in the set. She used Pretty in Pink, Night of Navy & Flirty Flamingo inks. She added die-cut gears from the Metallic Textured Specialty papers seen here.

If you want to make a card like this start out with a 4 1/4″ X 11″ piece of card stock scored at 5 1/2″. Trim off a 1 1/2″ piece from one end. Then trim off another 2 1/2″ piece which is the vertical center piece. The stamped paper layers are 1 1/4″ X 4″ on the top & bottom and the center is 2 1/4″ X 4″.

Hand-Penned Cards Kit to go!

I had a few requests to feature the pretty Hand-Penned designer paper for a kit to go. So I had a play with it and came up with these cards:

This kit to go includes a 10 cards pre-cut kit with 2 each of 5 designs including many fun-fold cards. *Opt in by June 18th to get it!

The inks I used are Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Highland Heather and Pool Party but you can easily substitute others you own.

Pretty Pansy Patch fun fold card with measurements!

Check out this pretty fun fold card using the Pansy Patch suite:

The flowers are die-cut from the Pansy Petals designer paper. Yes; the Pansy dies match the Designer paper perfectly – 2 sets each of leaves and flowers coordinate!

Note that adorable golden bee embellishment. They're called Bumblebee trinkets but they are currently unavailable. They should be back in stock around June 7th.

Here are the measurements for this pretty card:
- Evening Evergreen: 8 ½” X 5 ½” base scored at 1 ¼” and 4 ¼”
- Fresh Freesia: 1” X 5 ¼”
- Basic White: 2 pieces – 3” X 4 ¼” for stitched rectangle die-cut and 2 ¾” X 4” for inside
- Pansy Petals Designer Paper: 1 ½” X 5 ½” plus more for the die-cut pansies
