Garden Walk & Heartfelt Hexagons; a perfect match up for this kit to go!

For one of my pre-cut card kits to go this month (December) I chose the Garden Walk 6 X 6" designer paper.  It includes a wide variety of beautiful patterns. The pretty designer paper provides a great start to these 10 eye catching cards; 2 are fun fold designs.  Each design has a second layout option – one is vertical and the other landscape.

The tutorial is emailed to you immediately after payment. The card kit is mailed out via Priority Mail at the end of December. 

You will need stamps, ink, adhesives and a paper trimmer to cut your new designer paper.  I design my kits so you can easily substitute your own greetings.

• Trusty Tools Latch fold card with free project sheet & video

  On last week's Live video I created two fun fold cards featuring the Trusty Tools bundle and the Trusty Toolbox designer paper. 

  The Trusty Tools bundle is in the new Spring catalog and the Trusty Toolbox designer paper is in our Sale-a-Bration catalog. They're an incredible pair that is unique and perfect for handy guys or gals and coordinate together wonderfully! 

  This card is a latch card.  Both flaps open but the Poppy Parade flap is 'caught' by the layered greeting element.

  It's hard to explain how it works but the video I made shows how easy it is.  It's all about where to place the Dimensionals to 'catch or latch' the card closed.  I like my cards to stay mostly closed so I created this closure option.

  A word of advice on choosing Sale-a-Bration items. If you want both a pack of designer paper and a stamp set and cannot afford to get both, choose the designer paper first. They usually run out of papers, dies & gems before they run out of stamp sets. Then choose the stamp set with your next purchase.

• Heartfelt Hellos; a quick card featuring 4 Sale-a-Bration choices!

  Here's another card swap I made recently.  This one features 4 different Sale-a-Bration choices.

  Here are the 4 products I featured on this card; all from the Sale-a-Bration catalog that goes Live Thursday, January 4th.

  • 1st – the beautiful Flight & Airy designer paper. Gorgeous 12 X 12" designer paper featuring birds & florals.  *free with a $50 Stampin' Up! order
  • 2nd – the new Heartfelt Hellos stamp set; it's a $50 choice in our Sale-a-Bration catalog. It has 6 pretty greetings that all work with the new Heartfelt Hexagon punch (2024 Spring catalog)
  • 3rd – The Softly Sophisticated embossing folder – seen on the Calypso Coral banner. It's paired with the Softly Sophisticated stamp set and free with a $100 order. 
  • 4th – the gems are called Opaque Faceted Gems and are free with a $50 order.

  My colors include Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral, White & Misty Moonlight – all featured in the Flight & Airy designer paper. 

  The circle is 2 3/8" and works nicely with the new Heartfelt Hexagon punch.

  It's a beautifully simple layout that would be perfect to mass produce using your favorite designer paper. You could add extra layers if you prefer that; but sometimes it's good to let the pretty paper or greeting be the star.  

  Measurements:

  • Card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score/fold at 4 1/4"
  • Designer paper 3" X 4" (you can get 12 from one sheet of 12" designer series paper!)
  • Banner is 5 1/4" X 1 1/4"
