Frosted Forest silhouette card – so pretty! Free project sheet too

I'm sharing a gorgeous wintery card that I made on last week's video. I saw a few similar cards online and knew you'd like to see how to make them. 

Frosted Forest trees navy Save

It's in Navy & White with a clean, crisp feel to it. Perfect for wintertime or the holidays.  I shared how to assemble this in the video here or scroll down to see it below.  It's a little tricky to get the pieces in place before adhering to the card base.  

The trees die is from the Frosted Forest dies seen here.  It's part of a bundle with stamps, dies & stencils seen here.

The greetings and greeting die-cut are from the Peaceful Season bundle seen here.  I love this bundle!

It's hard to see the texture on the White but I used the Snowflake Sky embossing folder on it. The ribbon is our sheer Navy & Gold glittered ribbon in the Annual catalog.

  • Darling Donkey’s Birthday card

    The Darling Donkey's stamp set (seen here) is one of the most popular sets in our Sale-a-Bration promotion right now.  So I chose to use it for my card clubs in January.  We made this cute but easy card:

    Measurements:

    • Pool Party card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • So Saffron 2" X 4 1/4"
    • Flower & Field DSP 3" X 5 1/2"
    • White die-cut 2 1/2" X 4" 

    I used the Balloon Bouquet punch with this DSP for a quick accent.  I glued the Black & White twine down with liquid Multipurpose Glue.  The donkey is colored in with Blends markers.

  • Striking cards with Pretty Perennials with True Love DSP

    If the True Love designer paper hasn't caught your eye yet look at these cards:

    I paired it with the Pretty Perennials stamp and dies bundle for a recent FB Live.  I used Bermuda Bay, Real Red and black. Simple Stamping at it's best!  No die-cuts or punches either!  Sometimes it's fun to just stamp and layer.

    Lastly here's the stepped-up card I made using heat embossing and the Perennial Petal dies.  See the Pretty Perennial bundle here.

    I also used our new Blending Brushes to add color to the white flowers.  Love these so much!

  • Quick yet beautiful cards with the True Love Designer paper & video

    Sometimes you can let the designer paper do all of the work.  Look at this classy, beautiful card I made with the True Love Designer Paper!

    I used Daffodil Delight Blends marker to color in the flowers; coloring mainly on the printed lines on the flowers. Granny Apple Green for the leaves. Simple & quick!
