Friends for Life card with free project sheet & video tutorial

On last week's video I shared two cards featuring the neat Friends for Life bundle and the Full of Life designer paper.  Here's the first card:

I love the bright colors here! The colors are inspired by the Full of Life DSP – Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue & Daffodil Delight. There is a layer of Shaded Spruce under the White layer to show off the heart die-cut.

This neat bundle is on sale in June; discounted by almost 20%. See the Friends for Life bundle here.

Notice the heart die-cut from the front layer? I saved it and added it inside the card.

I stamped the hearts on another part of the DSP and used the coordinating die to cut them out. The 'wishes' greeting is from the Perennial Postage dies seen here.

I kept the layout quite simple because the DSP, die-cuts and stamping are the star here. I die-cut the heart from the White layer before I stamped for ease of time during the video. I stamped the 'BEST' greeting first and then added the vertical highlight image in different colors, stamping off first for a lighter hue. I love the effect!

Below is the video for this card and another; both featuring this Full of Life suite. I hope you watch it to get the many tips I like to share in my videos.  Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you're there!

  • You are Remarkable card in a clean & simple style with video & free project sheet

I created this pretty card with the new 'You Are Remarkable' stamp set from our Online Exclusive offering.

I was going for a clean & simple look since that's our March Team swap theme.  I just received this pretty stamp set and love the 2-step & distinktive set a lot!  See this stamp set here.

My colors include Black, White, Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves. The embossing folder is called Dashing Designs and is from the Annual Catalog.

I also used the new Textured Notes dies for the stitched rectangles.  These are incredible!  See them here:

On the video I changed the card a bit from the original on the left. Which do you prefer?  How many differences can you spot?

Here's the free project sheet for this card. Click on the following link to print or download it. Download You Are Remarkable Hello

  • Delightful Wishes fun fold card swap

Look at this beautiful card Paula made for last month's card swap. The theme was to use circles.

She used the Floral Delight suite (seen here) which includes the following products:

    • Delightful Wishes bundle seen here
    • Floral Delight DSP
    • Bees Trinkets *unavailable right now
    • Floral & Gingham Vellum

It's a super neat fun fold with two opening flaps.

    Here are the measurements:

    • card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". Cut off the upper left flap diagonally.
    • second flap 8 1/2" X 3 1/4" scored at 4 1/4"
    • two pieces of DSP 5 1/4" X 4", one cut in half diagonally.
    • Crushed Curry CS 4" X 3"
    • inside White 4" X 3"

Some of my favorite things about this card are the circle greetings, the die-cut vellum flowers, the little bees and the bright & springy colors.  Thanks for creating this incredible card Paula!

  • Striking Botanical Textures card kit or tutorial; Black & White with pops of color!

Many of us love Black & White designer series paper and the new Botanical Textures DSP fills that need.  I love adding pops of color to the Black & White colors!  Here is another new card kit option for March:

Many of the cards are fun fold layouts.  Reserve your pre-cut card kit or choose the PDF tutorial option.

    This kit includes the following:

    • 10 pre-cut cards with die-cuts and punched pieces
    • 1/2 pkg. Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper (6" X 12)
    • a share of 1/4" White ribbon
    • a share of new Neutral Matte dots
    • the PDF tutorial with measurements, step by step directions, photos and a supply list

The PDF tutorial will be sent to you via email immediately after payment; please check your junk mail.  The pre-cut kit and product will be mailed out at the end of March, barring any product supply issues.

You'll need adhesives, a paper trimmer to cut your new DSP, greeting images, adhesives & Black ink.  I used the So Sincere stamp set for my greetings; but you can substitute others easily.

This pre-cut kit costs $31 plus shipping and is found here.

The PDF tutorial includes step by step instructions, photos, a supply list and measurements. This tutorial is $16 and can be seen here.

Remember I have lots of kits or tutorials available at my Shop here.  Save money on shipping when you purchase more than one.
