Fabulous card made with the Slim Card dies; they’re 50% off!

This is one of the cards we made at my May card clubs. It features the Slim Sayings bundle in the retiring Jan-June catalog by Stampin' Up!

My card base is White and I added a piece of Sun Prints Designer Paper behind the chevron die-cut.  Scroll down for measurements and the video too. 

Did you know we have Slimline Envelopes that perfectly match these dies and a typical slim line card?  They carried over into the new Annual Catalog too.  They come in 3 colors; White, Smoky Slate & Soft Succulent. See them here.

At club they chose either a birthday card or a graduation card; it works for both. And some made theirs into a wedding or anniversary card!

Measurements:
White card base 8 1/2" X 7 1/4" scored at 3 5/8", White for die-cut 3 1/2" X 8 1/2", greeting 4 1/2" X 5/8"
• Soft Succulent for greeting layer 3/4" X 4 1/2" & scrap for leaf die-cut
• Smoky Slate scrap for fern die-cut
• DSP 8 3/8" X 3 3/8"

    Crafters are always ready for new products, right?  Even if you think you there will always be more that you 'need'!  It's not hoarding or collecting if you actually use it, right?

    Here's a card I made using all 5 of the beautiful new 2020-22 In Colors:

    The card base is Misty Moonlight and the three 1 1/4" strips are Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Cinnamon Cider.  I added the greeting die-cuts in White and Bumble Bee. These pretty die-cuts are from the Tasteful Labels dies on page 179; they're awesome and one of my favorites I've used a ton. 

    For my long distance customers I'm holding a Virtual New Catalog Party Wednesday evening from 6-9 here on Facebook.  I'm so excited about this; it's the first time I've held one!

  • Quick Framed Panel card; three ways!

    For last week's Stamp with Me Facebook Live I chose to make framed panel cards.  There are likely many ways to frame a stamped panel but I chose to highlight three of them – Stamped, Textured and Designer Paper.  Look!

    On these first two cards I stamped leaves on card stock using White Craft ink.  The colors above are the new 2020-22 In Colors in Just Jade and Misty Moonlight.  I used the Layered with Kindness (retiring!; see it here) and the brand new Forever Fern stamp sets.  The punch is Label Me Fancy seen here. 

    Just look at the detail on the Distinktive images here on the Forever Fern stamp set.  I'm in the middle of creating a new Wonder template for 8 quick, beautiful cards using this stamp set.  I cannot wait to share it with you!  

    Framed Panel Misty Moonlight Save

    I do not have the new Misty Moonlight ink yet so I used Night of Navy, stamped off once.  It's close!

    Measurements:

    • Card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
    • long pieces are 1" X 4 1/4"
    • short pieces are 1" X 3"
    • stamped panel is 1 3/4" X 3"
    • Navy layer is 1 7/8" X 3 1/8" 

    This next card is the new Cinnamon Cider with Bermuda Bay.  I also used the new Forever Fern stamp set here.  The butterflies are from Butterfly Wishes set.

    The next card is Seaside Spray with Night of Navy and features the Layered with Kindness and Butterfly Wishes. which coordinated with our Butterfly Duet punch. The Ornate Floral embossing folder is new and in the upcoming Annual catalog but it's available now.

    Lastly is one made with Garden Lane designer series paper (on sale right now) in Garden Green & Mint Macaron.

    Each week I share the measurements for our Monday stamp sessions a day or two early.
