Easy stack & cut layout with Regal Winter with free project sheet & video

This is one of the cards I shared on last week's Live video.  I chose to feature the beautiful Regal Winter suite seen here. It's new from our 2024 Holiday catalog by Stampin' Up!

Isn't the color combination pretty?  It's Blueberry Bushel with Wild Wheat & White.  It's interesting that I chose the color combo from the pretty Regal Winter designer series paper but afterwards I realized they are complimentary colors.  Check out pages 132-133 in the 2024-25 Annual Catalog. Blues & purple are complimentary colors with yellow hues. I explain how to do this this in my video seen here.

If you have trouble combining colors together start with two main colors.  Using our designer papers as a starting point can make it quite easy. I tend to grab the card stock and hold them next to each other.  I can usually tell if they work well.  But if you can't try using our color wheel information on the pages above.

Isn't that double die-cut pretty?  It comes as one die but cuts the main and the outer frame all at once. Click here to see the Regal Flora bundle and here for the Regal Winter designer paper.

I stamped the leaf image in Wild Wheat and the blue flower is stamped & die-cut. Next I colored the white areas with a Wild Wheat Blends marker.  Love the golden highlights!

How did I cut the three pieces of designer paper for this card? I explain in the video below and in the tutorial above.  But basically you stack 3 pieces of designer paper measuring 3 3/4" X 5" and cut into 3 pieces. It's incredibly gorgeous designer paper!

As long as you cut them all together it does not matter where your cuts are. You'll get 3 card fronts from the pieces you'll get.  These are layered onto another 4" X 5 1/4" piece of card stock.

Below is the video tutorial for this and one other card. I hope you watch it AND follow me on my YouTube channel too!

  • Cheerful Daisies card; perfect for Springtime!

I'm excited to share this pretty card with you. We made it at my May card clubs. It features the Cheerful Daisy bundle.

I absolutely love the colors!  I chose Lemon Lolly, Garden Green, white and the new Azure Afternoon.  I think the blue washed layer from the Fresh as a Daisy designer paper shows off the white & yellow daisies perfectly.

Here's how we finished the inside:

I sponged extra yellow on the Lemon Lolly daisy centers before adding the White die-cut over them. Here's  a photo of the dies  display I made: I did not add the separate individual daisies that fir over the large yellow die-cut below.  On my card they're white.

The ribbon wraps all around the card front and ties on the far left.  The greeting covers the knot so you see mostly the ends.

Check out that amazing, detailed greenery die-cut!  It even comes out of the die easily.  Love it!

See the Cheerful Daisies bundle here; I think it's wonderful!  Best daisy set we've had for awhile.

  • Quick cards with just ONE sheet of the Fresh as a Daisy designer paper!

The Fresh as a Daisy designer paper seen here is filled with pretty daisy prints and soft washes of colors – many are our newest In Colors and Core colors!

Here are the 4 cards I made from just one sheet!

This one sheet has a bunch of printed, blocked patterns ready to make fast cards with.

One of my favorites is this one; featuring a pretty bouquet of white daisies on our new Bubble Bath pink color.

I added a strip of White card stock below, ribbon, a greeting and a pretty foliage die-cut which are both from the Cheerful Daisies bundle.

I LOVE this one!  Again, white daisies on a washed background. I paired this piece over a strip of Early Espresso cardstock on a Lemon Lolly card base.  I heat embossed the greeting in White on the die-cut in the Cheerful Daisies bundle. White twine finished it off!

What a gorgeous scenic background this is!  I dd nothing to it but stamp the stems & leaves and added the die-cut daisies, greeting and gems.  The colors are Copper Clay with Crushed Curry.

Lastly is this pretty triple-panel card in Azure Afternoon with Copper Clay.  I cut the daisy panel into three pieces measuring  1 5/8" X 4" tall.

Again I heat embossed the greeting in White embossing powder onto a piece of Copper Clay card stock. I added a die-cut daisy to the side.

I'm featuring this pretty paper in one of my May card kits to go. I have a limited supply of them so grab yours while you can.  See it here.

Which one of these is your favorite?

  • Clever & Amazing interactive triple-tier cake card with video tutorial!

This card might look like an ordinary card with a layered cake on front but it's not!

Each layer opens up to reveal more inside! Click on the very short video below to see it in action!

The Bright & Beautiful designer paper is new in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.  It's filled with fun and colorful patterns in many of our new core colors.  Love this paper!

If you've followed me for awhile you know I like to create interesting fun fold cards. I saw something like this card online and knew my stampers would like to see it.

I cut strips or pieces of the Bright & Beautiful designer paper into sizes that would make a nicely layered cake.  Each piece is folded in half. Once you open them there's an inside message on each layer.  So cool!

And the best thing is that the middle star die-cut hold the lower flap closed which then holds each layer closed.

I have enjoyed playing with the Beautiful Balloons bundle this month.  You cannot go wrong with balloons; they're great for birthday's, graduations, weddings or any celebratory event.

You can see this bundle here online.

Click here or on the photo below to watch how it's made.
