Easter Bunny Floating Panel card with a free project sheet & video tutorial!

We made this sweet card at my March Card Clubs – it features the Easter Bunny bundle. This bundle is currently unavailable. you can get the Easter Bunny stamp set now but the Bunny punch is returning in May.

It's a Floating Panel fun fold card; one of my current favorite folds lately. It's both fun to make and easy to create too!

My colors include Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight. Below you'll see the baby version. I gave my gals the choice of Easter or baby.

I used a variety of products on this card:

Stamps – Easter Bunny, Charming Sentiments
Ink – Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss
Paper – Fresh Freesia, Daffodil, Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Tea Boutique, Butterfly Kisses, Flowers & More host
Other – Basic Borders dies, Cane Weave 3D folder, Dimensionals, Brass Butterflies

Do you see his little cottontail? I tore off a piece from a cotton ball and rolled it into a ball. It's adhered with out Multipurpose liquid glue.

Here are the measurements:

Card base 4 1/4" X 11" score at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2". Scraps for bunny & circle punch. Two strips 1/2" X 1 1/2" for the floating panel hinges
• DSP pieces four pieces at 1 1/4" X 4"
• White front square 2 3/4", inside 5 1/4" X 4"
• Blackberry Bliss square 2 7/8"
• Greeting strips 3/4" X 3 1/2"

Here's a tip on the Floating panel: You need just two pieces of card stock about 1/2" X 2 1/2". Fold them in half and adhere to the center fold; one on each side. Your front panel is adhered to this.

2 cute cards with the Pampered Pets bundle

I featured the Playful Pets bundle when I made these two cards at Tuesday's Facebook Live this week. This suite is absolutely adorable!

Here's a close up of the first card. The texture of the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder is so neat. It's subtle but still quite noticeable with a unique texture.

This card shows just a peak of the cute Playful Pets designer series paper between the textured layers.

See the paw prints on the bottom right? That is a die in the Pets dies. I placed a scrap of Black CS behind it to show it off. You can see the entire Playful Pets suite here.

The dog is cut from the Playful Pets DSP; the Pet dies match some of the images in the paper! I added a bit of the Playful Pets trim for a collar and a bone from the Pet Trinkets. Below are the measurements for this card:
- Real Red 5 ½” X 8 ½”, 1” X 5 ½”, 2 ¼” X 5 ½” textured pieces
- 1 ¼” X 5 ½” Designer Series Paper
Other products used: Tasteful Textile folder, Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles dies

The second card is a unique fold where the Black piece is the full back of the card and the Real Red is scored for the card opening. It's a fun and unique card that works well with our Designer paper. Whether you use 6 X 6" or 12 X 12" paper it all works without much waste when cutting.

Celebrate Sunflowers Triple Panel Card with video!

I made this card on Facebook Live last night on my weekly Monday night 'Stamp with Me'. It's such a fun technique!

I love blues and browns together and chose to use Just Jade, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Pool Party with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (seen here). What do you think of this color combination? One of my favorite things about creating is coming up with unique color combos.

I have some great tips on doing this technique.
- Start out with three colors of card stock measuring 3 1/2" X 4 1/2".
- Cut these into three strips 1 1/2" wide.
- Lay them together and adhere a piece of copy paper to the back side to keep them held together while stamping.
- Stamp large and small images all over the three colors of card stock with Soft Suede ink. *Always stamp the largest image first!
- Or use Designer Series Paper instead of stamps!
- Adhere to the Early Espresso layer (4 3/4" X 5"). Then to the full 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base.
The pool party greeting strips are either 3/4" or 1" wide by about 4" long. I used the new Pick a Punch (seen here) on the ends and added a thin strip (about 1/4") of Early Espresso card stock under it as an accent. I finished it with a double bow made with our Linen Thread.
