Easel Calendar with a post it box; made by Melissa

I LOVE sharing what my friends make.  Shout out to Melissa who made this adorable, bright & happy Easel Calendar for her club friends this month.

She searched for a tutorial and actually found one I did last year!  She added a box for a pack of post-it notes too!

She used the Pattern Party host paper seen here or on page 171 of our Annual catalog.  I always encourage my hostesses to choose this paper; it's the BEST deal! It's valued at $30 but hostesses can choose it for just $18 as part of their hostess benefits. Tip: Everyone earns free benefits on orders over $150; even Demonstrators!

This is the type of information I want you to know before placing an order.  I want to maximize your value and get you the best deal on our products that I can! *please contact me before ordering so I can help you!

It's a huge pack of 48 12 X 12" sheets with fun, colorful patterns on one side & Black & White on the other.  It's my favorite DSP in the whole book!

Measurements are below.  Or watch the video here.

Easel Calendar card measurements

  • Card base 4 ¼” X 11” scored at 5 ½”.
  • Easel 4” X 4” scored at ½”, 2” & 3 ½”

  • Why would you ?

If you love Stampin' Up! products and creating I sincerely believe getting the Starter Kit is the smart way to go.  Here is a short list of what other Demonstrators say about sharing this opportunity:

    1. Because if you're going to buy anyway, why not at a discount?
    2. To share in your love of crafting and sharing that love with others.
    3. To get the best deal.
    4. To join a community of like minded, creative & loving people!!
    5. To enjoy the opportunity to save $ while making beautiful paper crafts, with top notch products and building friendships all over the world.
    6. Because everyone should get to have this much fun at work!
    7. Because even as a hobby demo it's a great way to build friendships, have fun and get a discount.

I've never had a Team Member regret joining Stampin' Up!  Most often they say 'Why did I wait?!'

We have so much fun in my Flowerbug's group! Even though many of us are spread across the country we connect, share and support each other online.  Most are hobby stampers or what I call 'Happy Shoppers'; just enjoying the perks of the discount, being a part of some fabulous online groups and seeing and ordering from catalogs early.  It's a fantastic thing to be a part of!

    Details on being a Demonstrator:

    • Enjoy the 20% discount on all orders while you're active.  Stop ordering when you want.
    • There's no pressure to sell or hold events.
    • Your first $300 quarterly minimum isn't due until the end of September!
    • And all orders from May – Sept count towards that minimum!
    • Many people buy from themselves; ever order counts towards that minimum!
    • SU counts product as retail towards that minimum; but you're paying just 80% of it.  For instance, an order of $100 counts towards your $300 minimum but you pay just $80. Most times the tax & shipping is added on to the $80; not the $100.  This means you're receiving an even better deal!
    • Joining now means you can pre-order from the Holiday AND Sale-a-Bration catalog in July!!  And that counts towards your minimum!

  • Artistic Dies & sponging; super simple but WOW!

I couldn't decide which to use behind the sponged die-cut so I made both White & Black.   You can see that video here from Tuesday's FB live earlier this week.

    Which one do you prefer?

The reviews were mixed.  Most prefer the Black because the colors pop more.  But others liked the White for a softer look.

The card bases are Pale Papaya and Polished Pink. The strips are Pear Pizzazz. I used sponge daubers in Pear, Papaya, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink to add color to the pretty die-cut.  See these dies here and the bundle here.

The pretty scalloped die-cut is from the Scalloped Contour dies seen here.  The oval is from the Double Oval punch.

Below is the video where I demo'd this card.  Don't forget to follow my FB page here and my YouTube channel here so you won't miss anything!

  • Can you tell which is stamped and which is Designer paper?

I made these on FB live this week using the Expressions in Ink suite.  Can you tell which background is stamped and which is Designer Paper?

My top favorite suite in the new Annual catalog is the Expressions in Ink.  See it here or on page 96-97.  It's filled with stamps & paper that mimic alcohol ink backgrounds.  Toss in the beautiful gold accents and it's stunning!

Here's a close up of the card.  Can you tell if I stamped it or if it's designer paper?

Yes; I did stamp it!  These images are so neat!  I can see lots of uses for both the greetings and the faux alcohol ink stamps.  See how in the video below. Mmm; I think I'll try a one sheet wonder with these…..!

And look at the leaves die-cuts!  I cut them from In Color Shimmer Vellum & Gold Foil paper.  The tag is from the Tailor Made Tags dies.

Here's the FB Live replay video.  Sorry the text isn't flipped so you can read it.  FB changed their settings and the tool icon is gone.
